Stag and Hen Sales Role
What we need:
Sales people who also have the attention to detail necessary to successfully organise and deliver the events they sell. This is a 'start to finish' role and you will have control of all aspects of your customers' experience.
Viewed Favourably (at least one of):
*Successful track record in sales / account management
*Project management experience
*Business based university degree
*3 A Levels
*A ruthlessly competitive streak
Who we are:
Chillisauce is an event management company specialising in activity-based party weekends and corporate events. We are 10 years old, have 70 staff and are based just off Oxford Street in Central London.
What we do:
We organise events (usually stag and hen weekends) that include fun / adrenaline based activities as the primary focus. Things like white water rafting, tank driving, pampering days, dune buggy racing, cocktail making and clay shooting. Our packages also include hotel accommodation, nightclub entry, restaurant bookings and airport transfers.
From an employee point of view, pretty much all of this is office based (so don't expect to be out bungee jumping every day). However, we do organise a number of 'Research' weekends each year for the staff to let their hair down and experience first hand what we sell.
What the job involves:
No cold calling! All our enquiries are inbound and come in via e-mail or over the phone. Prospective clients have usually viewed our website and outline to us what has caught their eye along with dates and a budget. You discuss options and prices and create quotes. After some follow up conversations, you aim to conclude a deal for an event package. It is then a case of taking a deposit, booking up hotels and activity centres and other general administration related to the booking. From there, you ensure that the full balance is paid on time and that everything runs like clockwork up until they have gone away.
Salary:
Basic wage + commission (very generous and uncapped). The starting basic is £22k and applies for the duration of your 3 month probation / training period. After that time it is possible to alter this structure to generate greater income.
Full examples of how the commission works can be given at the interview. As a guide we would expect new Account Managers to earn around £30k in their first year. Our top sales people with 1+ years experience can earn well in excess of £40k.
