Liverpool stag do

Liverpool is a city where you can really let your hair down. Cream has been dragging dedicated clubbers in for years and there is a fantastic array of clubs to satisfy every taste. The second-to-none club scene is complemented by superb bars all concentrated in a compact city centre. Then there's the fact that drinks are ridiculously cheap; so cheap, in fact, that it's puzzling why all the girls seem to have no money to afford anything other than the tiniest of outfits. On the daytime activities side, Liverpool has more museums than any British city outside London. They'll come in handy.... On the more adventurous side, head into nearby Cheshire for an excellent range of high octane activities.

Overview:
Liverpool is the fourth largest city in the UK, with a population of around 450,000 people. The home of the Beatles, Liverpool has a lively student population- fantastic for your stag weekend as there are plenty of nightlife opportunities. This city has got everything you need to make your stag weekend the best it can possibly be. Transport:
Reaching Liverpool for your stag weekend is very easy with buses, trains and planes travelling to the city from most UK cities. Once in Liverpool travelling by foot is the best option with most of the major attractions and nightlife within walking distance. If transport is needed an unlimited one day travel pass can be bought for £3.30 for travel on buses and trains. Taxis are also readily available and run 24/7.

Must See/Must Do:
A Liverpool stag weekend will surprise you with everything it has to offer. Here are some of the things you must see or do when in Liverpool:

• The Beatles – Liverpool offers a lot of things to see and do related to this legendary music band, and it is a shame to visit Liverpool without seeing the sites that are related to the Beatles.
• The Mersey River – take any kind of cruise across the Mersey River, it is something that you will never forget.
• The International Slavery Museum.
• The Tate Liverpool – an international museum of modern art.
• Speke Hall – an over 400 years old Tudor mansion.

History and Culture:
The city of Liverpool is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it won the status thanks to its waterfront, which is pretty amazing. Also, Liverpool was named the European Capital of Culture in 2008. An interesting stag weekend can be had at the Liverpool Shakespeare Festival or at one of the many theatres including the Empire, Everyman and Playhouse.
