Overview:
Traditionally thought of as a granny’s holiday hotspot, Blackpool is now a thriving tourist destination all year round. History:
Blackpool has been a popular destination ever since the 1930’s when around seven million British tourists used to visit each year. There are a few historical sites to see in the town including the nineteenth century Grand Theatre and Blackpool Tower. The tram system in the town is the oldest in the UK dating back to 1885. Nowadays Blackpool has everything you would expect from a major seaside resort, and everything you will need for an incredible Blackpool stag weekend.
Nightlife:
Blackpool’s nightlife has improved dramatically over the last few years. There are pubs and clubs to suit every type of stag party, and more than 30 different discos. Club Sanuk is the most popular club in the town. Open until 4am it is a great way to end your stag night. Blackpool also has two casinos and theatres in the town for stag parties wanting to try something a little different. There is however a strict dress code in the town so stag night fancy dress should be left at home if you are planning to visit certain venues.

For a real, traditional meal you can’t beat Harry Ramsden’s fish and chip restaurant, located in the heart of the Blackpool promenade, serving what is said to be the best fish and chips in the country.
