Overview:
Tear up the Oxfordshire countryside with this awesome combo day.

Choose 3 of the following:

Honda Pilots
Put your foot down and burn rubber in the beast of all buggies. Honda Pilots are 400cc off road dune buggies which are capable of driving over the most demanding terrain.. There are no gears to worry about so you can concentrate on hitting the racing line. The specially built course incorporates slaloms, chicanes and hairpins which will challenge even the most competent of drivers, so go hell for leather and push the karts to their eye-watering limit.

Each competitor will have plenty of practise laps to get to grips with the kart. There will be two karts on the track at one time, with a staggered start so that you have plenty of clear track ahead of you. Finally you will race in a pursuit, with the fastest times of the session going through to a final. (Max 12, more split into 2 teams)

Quad Biking
Burn rubber on a speedy 250cc quad bike. After getting kitted out in all of the relevant equipment and having a safety briefing from the instructors you'll head out in groups of 4 on a safari across the testing terrain. The specially designed course will challenge even the most experienced quad riders so open up the throttle and hold on tight!

Hovercrafting
You'll fly over the ground at speeds of up to 40 mph whilst battling to keep control of the high power machine's 450cc Rotax aeroplane engines which, once revved up to maximum velocity, will have you pinned back in your seat praying to your choice of god. Initial control can be hilariously tricky and the craft can seem to have a mind of its own. The trick is to crank up power and use your thrust, rudder and body weight to regain control before you say hello to a tree and get a face full of bark.
If you feel yourself losing control and try to hit the brakes you'll be in for a surprise - there aren't any!

Clay Pigeon Shooting

The clay pigeon traps are positioned to accommodate all levels of experience and simulate a variety of specific games. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the country air and smoke a few clays, by the end of the session hopefully you should be nailing the clays more often than not... You'll have a blast! There is no pain when using the proper equipment: special guns and cartridges to suit all statures will be on offer. The instructors take pride in introducing novices to this exciting sport, with the aim of making you a top marksman by the end of the session (well, be able to hit something at least!). Licences are not needed – just wear suitable clothing and flat shoes. Each participant will shoot a total of 30 clays during their session from a variety of different stands. A scoring system is incorporated into the event to build up the element of competition and provoke some post-match banter.

- Approximately 2 – 3 hours, depending on group size.

Here is a sport that involves ruthless precision, firearms and stuff that explodes – what’s not to love? Clay pigeon shooting is a bona fide hen weekend classic that will get everybody fired up with some big bangs. So get your itchy trigger fingers ready and get firing!

The Format:
You will assemble at this superb woodland site for the standard health & safety talk before laying hands on the guns. Instructors will be on hand to give everyone a lesson in the basics before you take part in a practice round. After a short break your group will progress on to a fully fledged competition that will have you firing at clays launched from a variety of different traps.

- 40 clays and cartridges per person
- Tea & coffee
- Professional instruction

Duration:
- Approximately 3 hours, depending on group size.

Notes:
- A pub serving food is located 1 mile from the site. Food can be pre-arranged to eat on site as well.

The session will involves using several different types of trap (this affects the path, speed and direction of way the clay flies to simulate the movement of different types of animal; from a duck dropping onto a pond, to a bounding rabbits and  cross flying pigeons). A scoring system is incorporated into the event, to build up the element of competition and provoke after match banter.

Price includes 30 targets each (15 practice & 15 competitive).

Instructors will be on-hand to give everyone a lesson in the basics before everyone gets firing in a practice round. After a short break your group will progress on to a fully fledged competition that will have you firing at clays launched from a variety of different traps.

- 25 clays and cartridges per person

Duration:
- Approximately 2-2.5 hours, depending on group size.

Your stag party will assemble at this superb site for the standard health & safety talk before laying hands on the rifles. Instructors will be on-hand to give everyone a lesson in the basics before everyone gets firing in a practice round. After a short break your group will progress on to a fully fledged competition that will have you firing at clays launched from a variety of different traps.

Overview:
Experience Clay Pigeon Shooting at one of Oxfordshire’s top shooting grounds on your Oxford Stag do. You will be greeted with tea & coffee, sausage rolls, cakes and biscuits prior to starting your event.

The Event:
Your stag party be coached throughout the session by an expert tutor who will advise you in all aspects of the sport, hopefully turning you into a ‘pro’ by the end of the event (well at least hit the clay anyway!). You will normally have one instructor per 5 people to ensure each participant is given the maximum level of tuition. You will generally shoot approximately 10 cartridges per stand as you rotate through a number of different traps. Each type of trap throws the clay in a different direction, speed and angle to simulate different ‘game’, from bounding rabbits through to diving ducks and driven pheasant.

At the end of the session you will enter a ‘flush’ competition which involves a mass launch of clays, with teams trying to shoot as many out the sky as possible.

This is a top drawer professional shooting school based in the Scottish hinterland. The instructors are superb at getting the best out of novices, so it won’t be long until you’re pinging away at targets of ever increasing difficulty. (They will start you on easy targets, so watch for your mate who gets a bit cocksure after a couple of hits on the first stand – he’ll crack under pressure when the heat’s turned up!).

All told you’ll rotate through a couple of traps, shooting numerous targets at each one. It’s surprising how quickly you improve, by the end you will hopefully be going for two clays at a time.

The whole competition will be scored, either individually or on a team basis, so watch for the cocksure one, he’s likely to be a bit crestfallen by the end of the session.
