Getting Around:
Getting into and moving round the city poses no difficulty. Nottingham has been voted as the least car dependent city in the whole of England. The East Midlands Airport provides air travel to the city and it is just about 20 miles away. A thriving road and rail system is also available with the Skylink bus service connecting the airport to the city. The two major bus services, Trent Barton and Nottingham City Transport provide easy and cheap movement within the city.

History and Culture:
Nottingham has a rich cultural heritage which has been well preserved in the myriad of museums detailing the historical footprints. Undoubtedly, one of the major pulls to the city is the legend of Robin Hood and his merry men and this has been responsible for a large percentage of tourism. During the industrial revolution, the city gained prominence for its lace making and bicycle manufacturing industries. Shopping:
The two major centers in the city are the Westfield Broadmarsh and the Victoria Center. These provide a wide range of outlets for all your shopping needs and at affordable prices. Lace Market is the place to be for trendier settings while Market Square has an array of pubs that cater to the younger crowd.
