Bristol hen parties

Bristol, is one of those places everyone has heard about but know little about it. So here is the lowdown: Bristol is good, real good, and certainly one of the best stag party destinations in the county - the variety and quality of activities is superb, the nightlife one of the best in the county, and above all, it is very hen friendly (which is crucial as it can totally make or break a big weekend). If you are going to Bristol, then we thoroughly recommend doing a pub crawl along the quay side, where you can do 10+ hen friendly bars within a couple of hundred metres. For a swing on the standard nightclub theme we cannot recommend the Bierkeller highly enough. You can check out more under the specific listing, but trust us, this is one of ChilliSauce's favourite nights out!

Bristol was fun. Completely different to my home town. Everyone commented on how nice and relaxed a place it seemed even though it's a City. At home people can be quite rude, arrogant and stuck up on nights out. People in Bristol seemed a lot nicer! Would love to go again.

Bristol is brilliant! The hotel location was superb, no need for taxis, and all the venues we went to in the evening were very accommodating of hen and stag dos so I strongly recommend this lovely city!

Overview:
Bristol is a city built on fun – perfect for a hen party weekend. The city has a spectacular range of activities available to suit every taste. Friends will talk about your Hen Party in Bristol for ages. Attractions, sight seeing, museums, theatres, nightclubs, elegant restaurants, sports and adventure – its all for the choosing in Bristol.

Getting Around:
There are a variety of ways to get around Bristol. For some areas – including the Old City – walking is a great idea to get close to Bristol and its inhabitants. There are enjoyable paths harbour-side and window shopping is a pleasant pastime as well. A ferry provides transportation to Temple Meads or Hotwells and the city bus system is also a preferred method.

Must See/Must Do:
• Cabot Circus – A hen party must is shopping at the fashion-forward shops at Cabot Circus. Stroll down the avenues for the best stores. A fun hen party diversion would be ice skating at the shopping center.
• Slow Food Market – The Slow Food Bristol co-op puts on a lively, and award winning, monthly market that is worth visiting if for a walk if nothing else.
• Fish pedicure – Dr. Spafish provides a unique hen party activity. Hundreds of tiny fish nibble away at feet to remove hard skin. The fish have no teeth, so treatment is pain free and elicits nothing more than a little tingling or tickling sensation.
• Banksy sightseeing – The world-famous graffiti artist hails from Bristol and several of his street art pieces can still be seen around town.
• Cider and Ale – Have your hen party take a break at one of Bristol’s unique pubs and cider bars.

History and Culture:
Bristol has a rich history as one of Britain’s top cities, but that changed after extensive bombing during World War II. Sometimes considered a bit less than classy, Bristol has a rough around the edges character that lends itself to an interesting and vibrant culture. A number of successful music groups – Portishead, Tricky and Massive Attack – are from Bristol. Street art by the controversial Banksy helped bring the world’s eye back toward the creative haven. Bristol is also known for its commitment to environmental initiatives.

Shopping:
Cabot Circus has almost 93,000 square meters of retail and entertainment offerings in Broadmead, the center of Bristol’s shopping district. hen parties that want more than the usual chains should make their way to Stokes Croft and Montpelier where funky and vintage rule the day. Clifton Village is an option for exclusive boutiques and Easton has a diverse population of ethnic shops and eateries.

Nightlife:
Any Hen Party in Bristol is going to find satisfying nightlife because there is so much of it to choose from in the city. Thekla is a floating venue adorned inside and out with Banksy’s art. A happening reggae scene can be found at the St. Paul area and the Croft is the tops for local live music. Bristol’s gay scene revolves around Flamingo’s – a must for all-out dancing til you drop. No Hen Party in Bristol is going to be unsatisfied with these options.

Eating & Drinking:
Bristol has a growing multicultural population that has brought diversity in food to the city. The ethnic cafes in Bristol are too numerous to cite but should be explored for their variety. Try One Stop Thali Café which specializes in vegetarian Indian food. There are also a number of pubs where ciders and ales are made. The 17th century pirate pub Llandoger Trow is a must visit on any hen party weekend.
