Overview:
Long-renowned throughout Europe for its nightlife, Brighton is the hen party destination – eight million tourists a year can attest to it. Brighton mixes the quaintness of a seaside village with the cosmopolitan flair of a larger city and a vibrant creative community.

Getting Around:
Train service runs consistently from London Victoria so take a leisurely rail ride to Brighton with your hen do gals. Most of Brighton’s fun spots are within walking distance from lodgings but bus day passes are another good option as is a ride in one of the city’s many taxis.

Must Do/Must See:
• Brighton Pier – The Palace Pier is the center of entertainment in Brighton. Take your hen party on a wild roller coaster ride and then for toast in the bar area.
• Brighton Laughter – Laughter is king with these stress relieving sessions designed for bonding groups. A great way for hen do friends to grow closer on a special weekend in Brighton.
• Booth Museum of Natural History – More than 500,000 specimens and other natural history data spanning three centuries is housed in the Booth Museum.
• Sussex Coast cruise – One of the best ways to wile away a couple hours while in Brighton. Take your hen party on the water with a boat trip from the Brighton Marina. Sip wine or beer while cruising the coast. Beautiful.
• Paraglide – The Brighton area is known to be one of the best spots for paragliding. Several shops in and around town offer lessons for beginners and up.
• Royal Pavilion – George IV’s spectacular palace that is one of the most impressive and exotic buildings in all of Britain. The Pavilion houses regent furniture and art. The Royal Pavilion Tearoom’s balcony overlooks the Pavilion gardens that have been restored to their original grandeur.

History and Culture:
Flamboyant since the late 1700s, Brighton has a storied history. Prince Regent (later to become King George IV) had his seaside palace in Brighton complete with Indian domes and minarets with a Chinese-influenced interior. Fans of architecture will love the Regency-style that is abundant in Brighton.

Shopping:
Brighton has it all. Any Hen Party in Brighton must include a rather healthy dose of shopping. From the funky, to chic and exclusive, Brighton’s retail selections are broad and varied. Antiques, jewellery, art and of course clothes, take it all in as your hen party browses through everything from quaint boutiques to the big-name stores of Churchill Square.

Nightlife:
Brighton has numerous options for a hen night. Cocktail and wine bars are found throughout the city but pubs rule the day. These bars run the gambit from the funky to the traditional.

Eating and Drinking:
Brighton is well-known for its cuisine. While checking out the city’s pub offerings try a bite as well. Hearty pub food is abundant in Brighton. Many of Brighton’s restaurants offer unique stylings with organic produce. Celebrities have got in on the Brighton plan; Jamie Oliver recently opened Pukka Pasta – a tasty Italian restaurant – and Fatboy Slim’s Okinami provides a stylish décor in which to enjoy Japanese flavors on your Hen Weekend in Brighton.
