Quad Trekking:
Set in magnificent woodland surrounds, this quad trek will see your group split into teams and fire up quad bikes that will test your handling. The grounds provide excellent terrain for trekking with steep hills, narrow passageways and thick foliage. An excellent activity for those who love the skill of quads and want to test their abilities.
Quad Racing:
Think you're pretty handy in the driver's seat of a quad?
Well this action-packed racing activity will have your group split into teams where you will race against the clock (and each other) in an open field about half the size of a football pitch. Three drivers will race and complete their laps and then the next drivers will step up and so forth. All initial laps will be driven in a clockwise direction then the second part is completing it in an anti-clockwise direction giving all drivers a new perspective on the chicanes and turns. Altogether one and a half hours of drive time is allocated, though refreshment breaks are permitted.
Off Road Karting:
Create some chaos and unleash some driving fury at this brilliant outdoor driving track. Your group can look forward to a belting time as you and your friends race each other and determine who's the buggy racing queen.
The event starts with an initial driver briefing where you are shown how to drive the karts and get the best out of them round the course. In each team there are always three karts on the circuit at any one time. The group will divide into driving teams where each driver will have timed laps, swapping over an hour and a half. The karts are all Honda powered karts with professional roll-cages.
Laser Tag:
Laser tag is a highly addictive new activity that has all the skill and adrenaline of paintball but without the pain! The technology is focused infrared light, the same as your TV remote control. Infrared is on the safe side of the visible spectrum and is also the spectrum of choice for other military grade combat simulation equipment.
If you want a fun day out to enjoy the thrill of competition and team spirit, these fast paced combat games offer a distinct high tech edge. The guns are easy to use and accurate; some have an effective range of up to 150 metres and are not affected by weather conditions. The light beam travels straight and true so if you miss the target you can't blame the equipment. It's down to skill not luck!
Archery:
If someone says 'Archer', what do you think of? The biggest liar and worst novelist since the beginning of time, or a man shooting a bow and arrow? Well, whatever you think, fill your quiver full of arrows and nail some bull's eyes.
Archery doesn't score highly in the glamour stakes, but when it comes to fun factor it's close to the top of the list. Always great to get some friendly rivalry going amongst your group, you'll be able to shoot until your arm falls off... not literally, but you be able to shoot plenty of arrows. Top shot gets the bragging rights; worst shot gets the beers in.
Refreshments:
If you choose more than two activities a sandwich lunch is included with snacks and refreshments. For single activities tea/coffee and squash is included.
