Overview:If you’re looking for an activity to make the weekend memorable, or something to bring together a group of girls who don’t all know each other , then cocktail making, or mixology as it’s called, is the perfect solution.
Experienced, professional and friendly mixologists will take you step by step through the history of cocktails and then show you how to make three of the classics, before handing you the bottles and letting your imagination and creativity run wild.
As you experiment under expert guidance as to what works and what doesn’t, you’ll start to appreciate a whole new art form and most excitingly develop skills which you can then hone with friends and family in the years to come.
Format:Each group will have one or more cocktail ambassadors who will brief you on the day's activities before giving a short introductory talk on the history of the cocktail and the origin of the word. You get to toast the host with some flavoured vodka shots too!
The ambassador will then make an introduction shot for the group where he/she will explain what all of the bar tools are used for. If you don't know the difference between a Hawthorn strainer and a Boston shaker, you'll find out.
Everyone then makes a classic cocktail behind the bar, and in turn, gets a second trip to the other side of the taps to make a classic cocktail of their choice from the menu - Woo Woos, Cosmos, even Bond Martinis!
The event will end with a mini quiz with two free cocktail vouchers each on offer for the winning team. To soak up some of the alcohol, your group will also have a couple of food platters to nibble at, with a wide variety of food.Included:- Cocktail ambassadors- Welcome flavoured vodka shot- History of the cocktail- Bar tools and skills- Balancing taste- Demo cocktails and tasting- All guests shake up cocktails behind the bar including competition/games (each guest gets a minimum of 2 cocktails to make/drink) A further 4 or 5 demo cocktails are passed around the group too.- Special Platter or Mezze Platter - one platter per three people.- Farewell 'Vodka Train' for the group.Duration:1-2 hours. You'll design and mix your own cocktails in an afternoon of booze-fuelled fun and leave with skills that'll have all your friends licking their lips and pushing you towards the drinks cabinet.

Overview:A treasure hunt is excellent fun if you are looking for something entertaining to do during the day which will get all your party involved and working together. We can arrange pre-set treasure hunts through all the UK's major towns, which involve approximately 40 questions, the answers of which are gained as you walk along your route through some of the most scenic and interesting parts of the town. A treasure hunt is a great way of getting to know the city and also find out some interesting information that you would never have guessed unless you had taken part!Format:You will need to appoint one of your member as 'hunt master'. They will decide how to split up the group into teams and will hold the answers to the questions. The routes are circular, so you will always end up at your start point and it is best if you arrange a set finish time when all the teams have to be back at the start point to hand in their answers. It's recommended for the group leader to then take all the group to a nearby bar, where you can read out the answers, mark off the score cards (this is best done by getting teams to swap question papers and score while the hunt master reads out the answers) and then distribute any prizes (or penalties!) the hunt master has set for the occasion. What’s Included:- Personalised pack (please let us know the stag/hen's name)- 5 printed clue sets (suitable for up to 40 people)- Approximately 40 questions per clue set, following a pre-set route.- 1 set of answers for the hunt organiser.Duration:The treasure hunts will take approximately 2 hours to complete and are designed to be undertaken on foot.

Wallowing through deep mud & water, ascending impossibly steep climbs, creeping over breathtaking crests - you'll do it all and more behind the wheel of these amazing 4x4 vehicles. Your team will be introduced to an instructor and be given an overview of the local terrain and weather conditions and what the focus of the driving experience will likely be (traction and winch recovery in thick muddy weather, suspension articulation and ground reading in hot, dry weather etc). Your instructor will take you through the features and capabilities of the 4x4 vehicle you will be driving, before taking you out on a demonstration drive. Once completed the instructor will take you to a suitable part of the course where you will begin your adventure, tackling the obstacles in your path. If on a shared drive, you will rotate regularly between drivers as new techniques and new areas of the course are demonstrated to you. The 4x4s seat 3 people and the driver and there are both Land Rovers and smaller, zippy Suzuki’s to choose from! There are 3 separate levels for different abilities:
Starting with a comprehensive introduction in the awesome Land Rover (or our incredible Suzuki Jimnys), you'll learn the techniques to take on and conquer jawdropping obstacles. Then it's up to you to tackle the introductory area (itself no mean feat - mud, rocks, ruts and an awesome flat-top ascent await you!).
Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
After successfully completing your induction on the introductory zone (as above for novices, or a compressed reintroduction to the task for experienced drivers), our instructors will take you through an intermediate course where you can test your skills against side slopes that seem impossibly steep, thick mud that threatens to stick you fast and rutted sections that make steering redundant!
Duration: Approximately 3 hours.
A full day of hair-raising 4x4 is truly the only way to prove your mastery over the tough terrain! The instructors will assess your skills before setting you against the obstacles. The sharpest inclines, the thickest mud, the most unforgiving ruts - all of this will focus your mind to drive like never before! You will need the lunch break to recover before it all begins again in the afternoon. For novices, this is a one-stop route to becoming a master off-roader.

The guns are accurate up to 60 meters, 3 times the accurate range of paintball markers.
To be honest we have no idea why its called Airsoft because if you catch a spray across the fleshy part of your legs you'll squeal like a little girl and jump higher and run faster than you have done in years.

Buggy Trek:Enjoy the mud and thunder of a thrilling off road buggy trek session. If you like your activities rough and ready then this will be right up your dirt track. When this gets rough there are more bumps and humps than party at the Playboy mansion. Only real men can handle them so if you have any weaklings in your group you better tell them to sit it out and wait for the archery.Archery:Robin Hood was cool (no, not the Kevin Costner version) and William Tell was only a Granny Smith away from lodging an arrow through his son's noggin. With heroes like this in England's rich history who wouldn't want to pick up a bow and arrow, take aim and shoot 2 foot wide of the target to the heckling jeers of their compadres? With steady handedness a prerequisite, those who've had a heavy one the night before will be pulling their arrows from the dirt.Duration:1 hour per activity. Approx 2 hours overall
Notes:Max 7 people per trek. The group will be split into two. One half do archery, the other buggy trekking, then you'll swap around once each activity is finished.

Clay Shooting:Ever fancied getting your hands on a shotgun, setting your sights down the shiny double-barrel and scratching that itchy trigger finger of yours? Yes? We thought so! What better way to satisfy the urge than blasting a clay pigeon to smithereens, catching a victorious waft of the smoking barrels and reloading to unleash more destruction on yet another unsuspecting ceramic projectile. Shots:Approx 15 each
Duration:1 hour per activity - approx 2 hours overall
Notes:Max 7 people per trek (split into 2 groups - one half do clay shooting, the other buggy treking then swap round once each activity is finished)
Overview: The instructors take pride in introducing novices to this exciting sport, with the aim of making you a top marksman by the end of the session (well, able to hit the thing anyway). The session will involve using several different types of trap (this affects the path, speed and direction of way the clay flies to simulate the movement of different types of animal, from a duck dropping onto a pond, to bounding rabbits and cross flying pigeons). A scoring system is incorporated into the event, to build up the element of competition and provoke after match banter. Includes: Price includes 30 targets each. (15 practice & 15 competitive)

So you think you've driven them all and mastered the lot? Prepare to face the ultimate challenge of your skills! Our mini diggers pack some serious power in a small package, and you'll need command of every one of the four levers to conquer the obstacle challenge - whether it be knocking a ball into a goal with the scoop, delivering tyres to our 'body shop' or simply excavating an earth mound.
The junkyard is full of testing items to grab, knock over and even smash - as long as you've got the coordination and concentration to master the controls and become one with the digger! The Digger Challenge Fairground has all this and more, including a Coconut Shy that sees you knocking coconuts off their poles with one sweep of your scoop. You can also ‘Hook A Duck’ over a pond as long as you have a steady hand and a keen eye. And the Target Range will test your aim as well as your strength!
Following signing in at our reception, you will be taken out to our digger area, where a range of games will be set up for you to experience. Our instructor will brief you on the controls and techniques of digger driving and inform you of the game rules, along with Health & Safety information. Following a demonstration, you will take it in turns to tackle the game, while other participants watch from a marked safety area. The games will be rotated for the duration of the experience.
Approximately 2 hours, depending on group size.
The Buggies:These cars have a powerful 400cc engine linked to an automatic gearbox, in a chassis with a full roll-cage and all-round spring suspension making them very forgiving for the first-timer and a lot of fun for everybody. There are only two pedals for stop and go. It's just driver and machine against opponents and terrain, leaving you to concentrate on steering your way around the challenging circuit in front of you.
The Race Format:The initial instruction and safety briefing is followed by a couple of practice laps to get the driver used to the track. Each driver then competes in 4 timed races of 7 laps each, with 4 buggies competing in any individual race (the middle 5 laps in between a warm up lap and a warm down lap). To prevent a mass pile up on the first corner, each kart sets off a split second after the previous kart (all karts will have left the start line within a couple of seconds each other). To allow for any slight differentiation in kart performance, each driver swaps karts at the beginning of each race, so every driver will have driven in each of the karts in 1 race. A grand final is then set up for the fastest drivers from the pre-final race heats, with a bottle of bubbly for the winner.
The Track:The track is specifically designed to get the most out of the buggies while providing extreme racing in a safe environment. The dirt track incorporates bumps, humps, banked corners and jumps (where catching air is part of the game). Included:All safety equipment.
Notes:Track length = 400 metres.Hot food is available on site.
Duration:Allow approximately 2.5 – 3 hours.
Numbers:Minimum number of 16 people for exclusive race.
