Tossa De Mar is an ideal place for a hen night where you want somewhere a little bit quieter but with some serious party towns in easy reach, Llloret de Mar is just down the coast and packed with clubbers all summer while Barcelona is in the other direction with Spain’s best and most sophisticated nightlife and a tonne of hot Spanish men.
Tossa De Mar isn’t without its attractions though, both male and otherwise, and you wont be disappointed especially if you want to fit in some sightseeing and some great food as well while avoiding too many tourists during the day.
Food and Drink:
In Spain food and drink are made to go together, even the beers seem to go brilliantly with the local Paella and omelettes but the wines and Sangria particularly are a perfect accompaniment for these and other Spanish dishes often based around rice or seafood. Chicken is popular as well though as are Pizzas.
You may want a few drinks on your hen party in Tossa De Mar of course and the Spanish do red wines very well but many white wines available will be imported and therefore more expensive. Rjojas and Tempranillos are some of the most popular red varieties in Spain and are very drinkable in large quantities.

You could also take a day trip to Barcelona, shopping is one of the main pulls with plenty of local and international designer brands having their Spanish presence in Barcelona. There’s also the work’s of Gaudi, the Parc Guell and the Sagrada Familia cathedral, to take a look at and the city’s older gothic cathedral.

There are a few good cocktail bars here with flirtatious cocktail waiters waiting to mix you up almost any cocktail you could think of while putting on a bit of a display too. The Adrilla and Tahiti bars both have Flamenco and Rumba dancing, go along and watch how to do it before finding a partner and having a go yourselves. Chaplin’s features a disco and Karaoke for some real cheese and silliness but Catxa club is more classy with an outdoor terrace and swimming pool and Paradis club plays latest chart music.
