Overview:
There's more to cocktail making than just throwing a few spirits in a glass and sticking an umbrella in the top. Mixology is an art- get it right and you can create delicious concoctions which dance on your tongue and slide down your throat like liquid magic, get it wrong and you'll be pulling faces like a bartender chewing barbed wire.

Experienced mixologists will give you an introduction to the history of cocktails and will make four of the world's most popular drinks for you to sample. They'll pass on top tips from their wealth of knowledge before letting you loose on the juice.

You'll design and mix your own cocktail in teams against your friends using your newly acquired skills. Once you've created your masterpiece the rest of the group will have the pleasure of sampling it. The mixologists and your peers will then vote for a champion cocktail with the winning team taking home a certificate and bragging rights for their efforts.

Great fun for all the girls - you'll leave with skills that'll have all your friends licking their lips and pushing you towards the drinks cabinet.

As you experiment under expert guidance as to what are the best techniques, you’ll start to appreciate a whole new art form and most excitingly develop skills which you can then hone with friends and family in the years to come.
