Overview:
When it comes to organizing a
hen weekend, things can get extremely stressful very quickly.
Newcastle offers one of the most exciting
hen weekend experiences in the UK. The energetic atmosphere that surrounds the city makes the experience that much better.
Getting Around:
Newcastle has been well known for having a great Metro network for a number of years, which instantly takes the stress out of a hen do. The bus and train network into and around the city means that people on a
hen weekend have no need to drive.
Nightlife:
Newcastle certainly does not get enough recognition as it should, as it really is one of the best places to organize a hen party. By day the city is fairly quiet, but as soon as the lights go out, the city transforms into an all night disco. The great thing about a hen do in Newcastle is that there are a huge range of things on offer. Different nightclubs offer different things and the music is never the same in one place as it is in the next.
History and Culture:
A lot of people fail to understand a word Geordies say, their accent is actually closest to the Anglo Saxon accent of 1500 years ago. The history and culture that surrounds the city can be found in many of the galleries which feature some magnificent pieces of art work. If that is not enough, then studying the quality of the ancient architecture is going to be an extremely good experience on a hen weekend in Newcastle.
Shopping:
Without a shopping trip, a hen weekend in Newcastle is simply not complete. There are plenty of places to shop but remember not to get carried away. A lot of the high street retailers have some of their major stores here.
Eating/Drinking:
One of the best places to visit in Newcastle is the side of the River Tyne. Some of the best places for eating and drinking are located here and not only that, they offer some picturesque views as well. These places offer some high quality food, but at some great prices. Dining on a hen weekend in Newcastle does not have to be expensive!
