Overview:
A professional host will teach you how to slurp, sniff and swirl like a professional. This is a great way to learn a few tips to impress your friends. 

Format:
On arrival everyone in your group will receive a glass of Presecco to get things started. You'll then have a private 'How to taste wine' session where you'll be taught the correct way to sample wine and learn how to tell wines apart.

The chief hen will then be given a blind tasting and also asked to make a cocktail based on the guidance of your host, which the rest of the group will get a chance to sample.

The location:
This beautiful English Vineyard is situated in Dorking, Surrey (just outside of London) and is the largest vineyard in England representing over 10% of the plantings in the whole of the UK.

An all weather destination that operates all year round with indoor and outdoor tours and tasting. This vineyard is hard to beat, a blend of delights, the finest wine and food in all the most splendid of settings.

What it includes:
Start in the unique circular cinema., where you will watch a 20 minute surround vision film, full of amazing special effects instantly transporting you into the magical world of wine.

Next you will be transported by an indoor "people mover". Passing through the working winery with a full commentary. You will see the equipment used in today's wine production. From the grape press to the fermentation tanks and eventually to the bottling line, learn how one of the world's most ancient crafts is now perfected with the help of modern technology.

Your visit ends in the magnificent cellars where you will be guided through three specially selected local Surrey wines to taste and enjoy. The winery tour lasts approximately 50 minutes and is entirely within the building.

If you wish to tour the vineyards, a vineyard train operates from Spring to October for a 45 minute vineyard tour with recorded commentary.
