Overview:
Although it was very confusing trying to figure out quite just what Rocky Balboa was doing scaling mountains and what had happened to his fighting career, Cliffhanger reminded us all that climbing is cool.
Whilst you won't be swinging one-handed from a cliff face sneering and slurring your words, this outdoor, realistic climbing wall offers a good challenge. After getting some hot tips on climbing techniques and having a practice at low level, participants pair up within the teams with a climber and a "belayer". The climber scales the wall to get maximum points for height achieved while trusting the belayer to keep them on that rope. Don't worry; a qualified instructor will be watching like a hawk.
Excellent fun incorporating some good old fashioned exercise, this should make you feel better about the 20 odd beers followed by the soggy kebab you're bound to encounter in the early hours.
