Liverpool White Water Rafting
Overview:
Pull on your favourite swimsuit, don a life jacket and tighten the strap on your helmet, because you're in a for a wet and wild time. Depending on how much rain has fallen you'll be running either Grade 3 or 4 rapids, so hold on tight and prepare for a bumpy ride.
After getting kitted out and having a safety briefing you jump aboard your raft(s) and hit the water. The top part of the river is fairly placid, giving you time to familiarise yourself with the raft, and once you're relatively competent you'll head downstream to the more challenging water. Will you be able to ride Tombstone Weir, Middle Stropper and Factory Falls without going 'man overboard'?
Depending on how quick you are, you'll have 2 or 3 trips down the 1km course. As well as the rafting, you will get the opportunity to try your hand at weir walking and body surfing.

Enjoyed the rafting, although water cold at this time of year and only a shorter course available due to recent heavy rain and high water level.

Never done this before in my life..... Glad i did. We arrived and it was cold and wet, not really looking forward to it and scared that 62 McNuggets i ate earlier at about 5am may re-appear in a different form.
Got changed into wetsuits, had the briefing and met the poor bastard that had to deal with our group. Upon contact with the freezing cold water i instantly lost my penis for the rest of the day and i changed my name to Mattilda in respect to my newly formed mangina.
The guys who ran this were great, the whole group had a laugh and it was definitely a great thing to do on a stag do.

Great time, really nice staff who were up for a laugh! Would do it again for sure! They were happy letting us have a mess around as long as we didn't cause any problems. great venue too!
