Krakow Auschwitz Tour - Return Transport & Guide

Overview:
If you are visiting Krakow (whatever the occasion), a visit to Auschwitz is a must for those wishing to put a true perspective on horrors of what took place in WWII, and pay your respects to the estimated 4 million people that perished here at the hands of the Third Reich.

The History:
On June 14, 1940, the first transport of Polish political prisoner deportees arrived in Auschwitz and a lamentable part of history began. At first, it was solely Poles that were imprisoned and died in the camp. Later, Soviet prisoners of war, Gypsies, and prisoners of other nationalities were also incarcerated there. Beginning in 1942, the camp became the site of the mass murder committed against the European Jews as part of the Nazi plan for their complete eradication.

The Tour:
You'll be taken around the grounds and buildings for an in depth and informative tour of this historical site, spending approximately 3 hours learning of the atrocities, politics and climate under which Auschwitz was indelibly marked into the historical tapestry of the 20th Century.

Truly eye-opening and thought-provoking, why not take a break from your stag weekend mayhem and immerse yourself in a little world-defining history before head for the flight back home.

Included:
Transfer, guide, entry, English speaking museum guide, 3 hours of visiting.

Notes:
- Minimum 10 people
- Please make sure your conduct respects the gravity of the events that took place here.
