Ipswich, from a map looks a bit stuck out on a limb, full of country bumpkins and sheep fanciers, they say. To me, this conjures up the wrong image, because not only is Ipswich the home of football (OK, so I'm a bit biased), it is also the county town of Suffolk, and erm.. well, you could have a blinding stag weekend here.
The town is nice and compact for easy getting around with plenty of welcoming pubs and clubs. In fact the friendliness of the place can not be underestimated. Just out of town, you can burn off those excess calories with a whole host of outdoor activities from paintball to moto ball. Don't know what that is? Give us a bell.
