Greater Manchester Indoor Go Karting Open Grand Prix
The Karts:
Are 200cc single engine Biz karts which will reach 40mph on the straight.
The Track:
Is 400m long and features a straight, two hairpins and an s-bend section.
Format:
Open Grand Prix:
You'll need to allow enough time to get your group in and registered, as this will be a busy event! With a starting grid of 40 racers, an afternoon of close, competitive racing is assured. We run 7 – 8 karts on track at one time. The format of the event consists of 5 lap practice session, followed by each driver competing in a series of 4, exciting, fast paced 5 lap sprint heat races. All drivers proceed to the 8 lap semi-finals, with the top 10 drivers of the day qualifying for the 10 lap grand final. Trophies are awarded to the top three drivers, on the podium, at the end of the race.
Race Duration:
The event will last around 1 ½ hours.
