Overview:
It can be hard to explain the attraction of canyons to someone who has never taken part in the exciting adventure activity of canyoning. "Deep", "dark" and "primeval" are words that come to mind when exploring hidden, untouched natural wonders. The session includes the descent of a river or stream using ropes for lowered descents, as well as descents into plunge pools and natural rock flumes. You have an experienced guide to take through the canyon; the only thing you need to be able to do is swim.
Notes:
- You will need to bring a swimming costume, a towel, a long sleeved sweatshirt or jumper that you don’t mind getting wet for water activities.
- You will be provided with a wetsuit, cagoule, buoyancy aid, and helmet for water activities.
- We suggest you bring an old pair of trainers
Duration:
- Each activity is run as a half day that lasts for approximately 3 hours. Two activities can be combined for a full day.
