A lot of people choose to go with obvious cities for their hen party weekend, but for a more low-key getaway with the girls Eastbourne is ideal.
Getting Around:
Most attractions are within walking distance, which is convenient on a hen weekend. Driving, walking or busing is the best way to get the most out of your hen night in Eastbourne.
Must See/Must Do:
• Try wind surfing or kayaking
• Trek part of the South Downs walkway, it begins in Eastbourne and goes for 90 miles – but you don't have to do the whole thing!
• Visit the local pier and experience everything that Eastbourne really has to offer.
History and Culture:
Eastbourne is popular today thanks to the annual Airbourne Air Show, that attracts thousands of visitors to watch the RAF Red Arrows air display.
Shopping:
A hen party in Eastbourne would not be complete without a quick trip shopping. The Arndale Centre is possibly the best place to not only pick up some bargains, but also to pick up some unique items as well. As a fairly traditional town, the likes of antiques and crafts are not hard to come by, with some impressive pieces on offer.
Nightlife:
There are a range of nightclubs but you might find a lot of the traditional pubs offer a much better night out. For hen weekends that are slightly mellow, Eastbourne is the perfect location.
Eating & Drinking:
When it comes to dining and drinking in Eastbourne on a hen party weekend, the best place to visit is certainly going to be Terminus Road as it is well known for being a good place for fine dining and drinking.
