Overview:
Take to the WWII bombing range and prepare to engage in a thrilling bout of Paintball Tank Battle – the only game of its kind in the UK. There are a total of 10 different tanks available, each of which is fitted with fox turrets and 40mm paintball cannons. The cannons have been specially commissioned to fire from the turret of the tank, making the event as realistic as possible.
Three participants and an instructor can fit inside each tank, and you will all be expected to take a particular role: either that of driver, gunner or commander. The instructor will take you around the rugged 1 mile circuit track and inform the team on how to operate the tank proficiently.

Then it’s time to negotiate the circuit for yourself: expect to face steep hills, sharp bends and numerous obstacles. The 3 of you will complete 3 laps of the circuit and rotate your positions of driver, gunner and commander.

Let Battle Commence!
Next it’s time to get serious as you and the team batten down the hatches, take your designated positions and prepare to fire giant ping pong-sized paintballs at high velocity! Your opponents will be in an identical tank, ready to engage you in serious warfare. You will be expected to navigate the tank by strictly using periscopes, adding to the realism of your mission. Once the tanks have reached the ‘Arena’ area, you will situate them in various positions before firing at your enemy in this timed event. Points will be scored on the number of direct hits the tanks make against each other – so make sure each shot counts!

Duration:
Allow approximately 2.5 - 3 hours for this event.

Notes:
- Minimum numbers are 10 people. People over 6'4" and over 22 stone may have difficulty fitting in the tank.
- This event is weather dependant and only tends to run from late March to late October.  (Snowcat Patrols are available as an alternative in winter months).  
- 3 participants and 1 instructor per tank.
- Radio headsets, Kevlar helmets, tank suits & gloves included.
- You do not need a current driver’s licence to drive the tanks.
- Maximum of 30 people per session.

Overview:
Airsoft is paintball on steroids. Making use of realistic pistols, sniper rifles and rapid fire assault rifles and that can spit out blistering rounds of 6mm plastic pellet balls at an astionishing rate, it will have your heart pumping like a bastard in no time! The guns are accurate up to 60 meters, 3 times the accurate range of paintball markers.

To be honest we have no idea why its called Airsoft because if you catch a spray across the fleshy part of your legs you'll squeal like a little girl and jump higher and run faster than you have done in years.

Format:
Game sessions unfold in a similar manner to paintball. You'll be split into platoons and fight each other to obtain specific objectives. Realistic battle scenarios include: SAS Style Hostage rescue - Downed Pilot - Jungle Warfare - Defending the Embassy - Protecting a VIP and more. The scenarios are set in dense woodland, with a large number of excellent props setting off natural obstacles such as streams and ravines.

Notes:
- We suggest that those with a low pain threshold bring their own gloves and hats. The balls can sting sometimes if they get you in the right spot.

There's also a viewing area to watch your competitors on the race circuit. 

Race Format:
- An un-timed practice lap to get the feel of the buggy.
- A grand prix type race with everyone competing in the qualifying heat, followed by the semi finals and the final heat for the podium winners.
- 4 buggies on site and on the track at any one time

‘Football's not a matter of life and death. It's more important than that.' So said legendary manager Bill Shankley. But however seriously you take the beautiful game, you'll love a game of 5-a-side on purpose-built astroturf pitches.

Wow your friends/colleagues with your Maradona-esque skills and recreate your favourite footie moments in a game that'll separate the Steven Gerrards from the Stephen Hawkings.

The Game:
The glory of the 5-a-side is that you can modify the format of the game to suit the needs of your group. If you've had a particularly heavy night you can take it easy with short games and multiple substitutions, but if you're madly keen and super fit you can have an intense game and there's even the option of booking a referee.

Match balls are provided and we recommend you try to coordinate colours amongst your group so you won't be able to blame not knowing who's on your side for your umpteenth misdirected pass.

What you need to bring:
T-shirt, shorts/tracksuit bottoms, trainers.

Overview:
What could be more fun than grabbing the controls of a big hunk of military vehicle and thrashing the beast accross terrain that'd make a Fiat Punto stall in terror. Not much, that's what. With not 1 but 2 tanks on offer for you to drive round the purpose built and testing track, it's time to put on your camouflage helmet, smear the warpaint accross your cheeks and get involved. 

Possessing the ability to traverse over any kind of terrain, these military vehicles are a real blast to drive. After a briefing and practice lap with the instructor, you will each take a turn to negotiate the 2 mile track that features a 1 acre pond, dense woodland, steep slopes and hair-raising descents.

Weighing in at 5 tonnes with a very strange driving position,why not have a go testing your wits and muscles,looking only through your periscopes!

FV432 APC:
17 tonnes of hardened steel with a meaty engine will carry you around the obstacle course - hatches open, heads up!

Overview:
Robin Hood was cool (no, not the Kevin Costner version) and William Tell was only a Granny Smith away from lodging an arrow through his son's noggin. With heroes like this in England's rich history who wouldn't want to pick up a bow and arrow, take aim and shoot 2 foot wide of the target to the heckling jeers of their compadres. With steady handedness a prerequisite, those who've had a heavy one the night before will be pulling their arrows from the dirt.
Luckily you'll have competition standard bows to use and instructors to help you to get to grips with them so you might just nail that bull's eye. After a short practice it's competition time with the victor doubtlessly thrusting his bow skyward in jubilation, cheering and grunting like a Neanderthal who's just floored a sabretooth on the hunt

Overview:
Opened in 1926, this undulating woodland course can punish the wayward shot. Finding the fairway is an absolute must as there are many meandering streams around the course.

The first is one of the holes that requires great care. On an elevated tee, the brave can attempt to clear the stream with a wood leaving a small chip onto the green. Most golfers have to judge the wind and slope before choosing anything between a five to a nine iron.

The twelfth hole rewards the bold with a good birdie or eagle opportunity - but beware - a stray drive out of bounds and you'll be lucky to avoid dropping a shot. A modern leisure centre is adjacent to the course offering excellent bar and catering services.
