Overview:
Combine a relaxing punting tour along the Cambridge backs, along with a three quarter hour session, where you will hopefully learn the art of punting without falling overboard! All the spacious 12-seater tour punts are very comfortable and come equipped with blankets and umbrellas as standard.

The Event Format:
This combines a 45 minute tour of the College Backs with 45 minutes of punting tuition for members of the party. We cannot guarantee to produce punting experts in one session, but groups will certainly have a lot of fun trying!

Overview:
What could be a better event for your hen night? You'll go on a relaxing tour through Cambridge's historical sites in 12 seater tour punts, followed by a lesson in salsa dancing to get the mood swinging for your night out.

The Event Format:
A 60 minute tour of the College Backs is followed by a 60 minute private class in Cambridge's best salsa club. The salsa instructor takes groups through the basic steps and the newly acquired skills can soon be put to good use, as free entry into Cambridge's salsa nightclub is included in this package.

Overview:
This is a truly sensual evening for the girls. What could be more romantic than drifting along the Cambridge backwaters, glass of Champagne in hand, as Chinese lanterns light your path through the shimmering waters?

The Pub Challenge Format:
During the warmer months this package is very popular as a pre-dinner activity. After dusk punts are fitted with Chinese lanterns and are magically transformed by the soft glow of candlelight. This self-indulgent tour allows groups to enjoy the Backs at their best whilst sipping a couple of restful glasses of fizz en route. Tours last 60 minutes. All the spacious 12-seater tour punts are very comfortable and come equipped with blankets and umbrellas as standard.

Overview:
Armed with maps and questionnaires, teams of up to 5 people scour Cambridge, trying to answer questions which range from the painfully cryptic to the patently absurd. Answers are marked as teams return and the results are usually ready soon after the last team has finished. The emphasis is upon enjoyment, not speed; our aim is for teams to get the most out of Cambridge.

The Cambridge Punting Challenge
This treasure hunt is divided into a punting stage along the College Backs and a walking stage through town. Each team punts itself, as learning to navigate is very much part of the fun!

Duration:
Approximately 2 hours

Overview:
This half day excursion consists of approximately 75 minutes punting time each way, plus a 90 minute stop-off at Grantchester Meadows. Once in the picturesque village of Grantchester (a 5 minute walk from the Meadows) groups can have lunch at a pub or the famous Orchard tea gardens. We especially recommend the Red Lion pub (01223-840121), which usually accepts lunch bookings. Please note that the Orchard does not take bookings and the queues at weekends can be quite long.
