The refreshing taste of a crisp, cold cider has become much loved nationwide. Over recent years there's been a boom in the varieties of cider on offer and the drink's popularity has rocketed. Embrace our new found love of the alcoholic apple tipple with a boozy day of quality cider tasting.

Format:
Tasters have their own recording sheet upon which are already listed the cider notes, cider type, and strength. The 'blind' cider tasting begins with cider number 1 on each table and it's up to you and your mates to try and match the taste to the correct notes. You'll get a half pint of cider for each person per round. Your table will have lots of tasty bites on it to make sure you can line your stomach throughout the day.

The jugs keep coming for 8 rounds and are similarly tasted and recorded until you've polished off 4 pints in total. At the end the correct answers are given and the ciders unveiled. How many have you got right compared with your friends? There is a prize for the taster with the most right out of the 8 ciders - a bottle of special reserve cider!

Life is for celebrating and by choosing wine tasting for your hen or stag party, you can celebrate in style and emerge a wine connoisseur able to show off a completely different knowledge to a heavy body and thinner legs.

Wine tasting can help you to identify your Bollinger from your Babycham and have you swirling, sniffing and spitting wine with the best of them.

Technically speaking, wine tasting is the sensory examination and evaluation of the wonderful grapey drink. However you put it, studying one of the finer things in life in a beautiful English vineyard is a fool proof way of having a fantastic hen or stag party.

The location:
Situated half way between Avebury and Stonehenge in the village of Littleton Panell, this stunning Vineyard has some 6 acres down to vines and 6 acres of orchards. They are developing a range of English Wines, Cider and Apple Juice that are Vegan friendly.

What it includes:
A vineyard tour, winery talk and 4-5 wine tastings accompanied with light refreshments and nibbles.

Overview:
This great wine tasting experience is the perfect way to experience the delights of fine wine whilst drinking a fair bit too! With a wide selection of vino to tantalise your palate, this boozy day is the perfect addition to any hen weekend.

Format:
You'll start by being taught how to taste wine like a professional. There will be a sparkling wine toast to the hen followed by a blind tasting for the group.

There will also be games to play such as guessing the aroma of wines and some fun questions based around the happy couple to be. Tasters will have the chance to sample seven wines from various countries.
