In case you didn’t realise, Afternoon tea is having a comeback…it started way back in the 18th Century when the Duchess of Bedford made it cool, and has since become an established ritual in the British psyche. They say that good things come in small packages, and these mini treats are a divine way to kick off your hen party. Pack your best shoes and get ready for some hob-nobbing. This crowd is seriously well-heeled.

The location:
Situated at the heart of the World Heritage Site since 1795. One of the most elegant and stylish buildings in the country. Spa water still flows from the fountain overlooking the natural hot spring. The magnificent domed Reception Hall is perhaps the best Victorian interior in Bath.

That wonderful caffeinated nectar, drunk by everyone, from the humble builder to the refined politician. Not only will you sit and enjoy tea (and coffee if you're so inclined), but you'll have a selection of finger foods to look forward to as well.

On arrival at the hotel restaurant, you'll have a glass of buck's fizz to properly start the celebrations, as your tea and coffees are prepared. You'll then be brought platters of varied sandwiches, scones and desserts, so you can enjoy the afternoon.
