Overview:
Settle in for a tasty dinner of South American specialities at this awesome Latin themed restaurant. With a vibrant party atmosphere encouraged, this is the perfect place to line your stomach with some nourishment (and to get a few cheeky tequila shots under the belt) before heading out for a big night on the town. After the meal you might even find the spacious bar area to be a good place to spend an hour or three. Our recommendation is to try out the traditional homemade Cachaça, a spirit distilled from sugar cane and the national drink of Brazil.
The Menu:
Both the starters and the mains are served in 'Jumbo' portions. The starters are enough to share in pairs and you'll each get to order a main. The staff at Chillisauce can personally recommend the combination of Calamares and Xinxim as being a very fine dinner.

Nachos - home cooked corn tortilla chips with melted cheeses,salsa,soured cream & guacamole
Barbecue Jerk Chicken Wings - spicy hot scotch bonnet chillies & allspice seasoned chicken wings
Pato Taquito - shredded roast duck & caramelised onion rolled in a flour tortilla & char-grilled,with sticky chilli jam
Albondigas - authentic & indulgent Patagonian-style lamb meatballs with apple,nutmeg & mint,braised in a light tomato & red chilli sauce
Calamares - Whole Baby Calamari, in crumb cassava.
Mushroom Ceviche - Fungi doused in Lime, coriander, Garlic & Fresh red chilli.
Mains:
Moqueca - Brazilian coconut curry. Salmon or Sweet Potato & Peas
Fajitas - Served on sizzling platters. Spicy Chicken, Steak, Prawns or Vegetarian.
Xinim (Pele’s favourite!) - lime chicken in a creamy crayfish & peanut sauce.
Sirlion Steak - Simply seasoned & flame-grilled South American 8oz steak with roasted tomatoes & chimichurri,served with Salad or Fries (£1.00 supplement)
Burrito - Baked tortilla parcel with homemade salsa,soured cream,guacamole & served with crisp salad.Filled with coriander rice,slaw,cheese & your choice of : chiken,onion & pepper with fajita spices or Beef steak & caramelised onion
Chilli - A warming chilli of sweet potato,butternut squash & chickpeas, braised in spiced tomatoes,served with garlicky rice,warmed soft wheat tortillas,soured cream & corn tortilla chips.
