Inspired by popular television shows like Waking the Dead and Silent Witness, this 'hands-on' team building event requires participants to spend the afternoon re-investigating an unsolved murder case.
This is a very practical event - where teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving skills will be put to the test. It's down to teams to strategically manage themselves to ensure that by the end of the event they can prove what happened over 30 years ago - by evidence and facts.
Closed Case is run by former Police Officers or Forensic Scientists to ensure it's as realistic as possible.
The event begins with a briefing by the 'Head of the Closed Case Unit', where everybody is informed about an unsolved case from the 70s.
Case archives and evidence (with genuine artefacts from the 70s) will be delivered to the group and it's down to teams to look through the box of evidence, case notes and police statements, then using cutting edge tools and techniques (that were not available during the original case) teams will try to FINALLY put this case to rest.
Tools and Techniques available for teams to use - if they wish...
Police Statements and Case Notes
Look through police statements and case notes written during the original investigation and see if anything was missed.
Hair & Fibre Analysis
If teams look hard enough they may find something worth anaylsing.
Blood Identification and DNA Profiling
Using tools that were not available during the original case, try and find any additional evidence and see where it leads.
Advance Fingerprint Dusting
Guests will be taught how to lift prints using specialist equipment. Perhaps teams will uncover finger prints that were missed during the original investigation.
Aging Photos - Photofit FBI Software
Using suspects' descriptions from case files, generate photos of them. But don't forget the murder was over 30 years ago so you'll need to age the photo.

Please do pass on the positive feedback to them. I will certainly recommend the event to other colleagues and friends in the future”
