Overview:
This is your last weekend of freedom. For months you have been worried that your friends are going to put you in a situation where you stuck between a rock and a hard place. You open your eyes, look down and realise that this is that moment...

After getting some hot tips on climbing techniques and having a practice at low level, participants pair up within the teams with a climber and a "belayer".  The climber scales the wall to get maximum points for height achieved while trusting the belayer to keep them on that rope.  Don't worry: a qualified instructor will be watching like a hawk.

After mastering the climbing it's time to work on your fear of heights. Instructors will teach you the basics in abseiling and have lowered down a rock face before you know what hit you.

Excellent fun incorporating some good old fashioned exercise, this should make you feel better about the 20 odd drinks followed by the soggy kebab you're bound to encounter in the early hours.

This event will run for the full day, around 10 am - 4 pm.

Onwards and upwards:
Although it was very confusing trying to figure out quite just what Rocky Balboa was doing scaling mountains and what had happened to his fighting career, Cliffhanger reminded us all that climbing is cool.

Whilst you won't be swinging one-handed from a cliff face sneering and slurring your words, these rockfaces offer a great challenge. - Full day (includes 2 x 3 hour activity sessions and a packed lunch)

We can also run indoor climbing sessions depending on the weather conditions and needs of the group.

After meeting your instructor for the day, you will be kitted out in a safety helmet, climbing harness and a pair of rock boots. The friendly instructor will start you on easy to climb boulders before you move on to a fully roped and graded climb, the nature of which will depend on your groups ability.
