Overview

Format
A bar will be set up at the venue and a demonstration will be given by professional bartenders showing how to make some of the most popular and well-known cocktails.  During the event guests will be able to socialise and network and in their own time go behind the bar and try making them for themselves. Two rounds of cocktails will be served throughout the event.

Interactive cocktail games involving everybody, where guests will learn new skills, taught by some of the world's leading bartenders and above all, bond over fun games.

Format:
During the event, three rounds of drinks are served, with on average another one drink per person mixed while competing in the cocktail games. There are breaks to allow for the drinks service and mingling – the programme works ideally set over a dinner or snack platters.

The event concludes with prizes awarded to the ‘best bar team’ and an individual prize for ‘the best bartender’.

Reception Cocktails
Upon arrival, guests will be served a fresh fruit cocktail. 

Flair Demonstrations
The workshop begins with a quick flair routine to music by one of the world's class flair bartenders - a real attention grabber!

Mixing Methods
Guests will be given a mixology demonstration, showing a selection of classic and contemporary cocktails, using different methods to create the drinks including freepouring, shaking & straining, muddling & churning, layering and flair skills (and there will be plenty of tasters passed around for tasting).

Volunteers from each team will be asked to come behind the bar and make the cocktails. Teams will be scored on there efforts. 

Mixology Games
Each team will be presented with the Mystery Box, and asked to pick at random two ingredients from it. The box is filled with a variety of possible cocktail ingredients; from delicious to…difficult to mix into a great drink. (It can be done, ask your bartender about the famous Onion Ring Martini).

Using their newly acquired knowledge of cocktail mixing methods and exotic spirits and liqueurs they need to create their own cocktail. Groups can experiment until they have the perfect creation.

Teams will work together to mix their drinks …points will be awarded for style, taste, name, originality etc.  Groups present their drink alongside creating an advert for their new concoction.  If this is a team building exercise we can ask teams to create a cocktail to sum up the core value of their company’s brand.

Overview
Ideal for promoting a fun team working atmosphere where guests are treated to a sensory experience. During the event, guests will witness amazing flair and will take part in interactive cocktail games where they will learn new skills, taught by some of the world's leading bartenders and above all, bond over fun games.  This lite version is run in exactly the same format as the normal Cocktail Making Workshop but is slightly shorter in length (1.5 hours) making it the perfect choice if you are looking for a shorter event that still guarantees the same quality cocktail making experience.  

Format
On arrival guests are served the first round of cocktails and will be treated to a spectacular flair show by professional bartenders.  This will then be followed by several demonstrations of how to make some of the most famous cocktails and then it will be over to the guests themselves to try and recreate them.  There will then be a further flair demonstration and a second round of cocktails before guests attempt the Mystery Box challenge and then get creative to devise their own cocktails

The event concludes with prizes awarded to the ‘best bar team’ and an individual prize for ‘the best bartender’.

Mixology is an art: get it right and you can create delicious drinks which will be an explosion of pleasure on your tongue, but get it wrong and you'll be pulling pained faces and reaching for the mouthwash to wash the taste away!

This activity is a winning night out of the office, ideal for promoting a fun team working atmosphere and treating your team to a sensory experience.

Format:
Guests will be greeted with a drink on arrival followed by an introductory talk on the history of cocktails and the origin of the word from an experienced Mixologist.

Throughout the event the Mixologist demonstrates how to make a selection of tasty cocktails, and teams have a go at making them with plenty of tasting opportunities. Everybody gets a chance to shake, rattle and pour, behind the bar, using their new cocktail knowledge and bar skills to make one of the cocktails.

When teams aren’t making cocktails they’ll be competing against each other for points in cocktail themed activities, such as the bar tools challenge, lemon squeezing and a team quiz all about cocktails. The event concludes with a presentation where fun prizes are awarded to the winning team.

Cocktail Making and Teambuilding

Your cocktail experience starts with a reception drink and an informative talk introducing your instructors and fellow team members. You will then split up into smaller groups and experience three different aspects of the wonderful world of drink fixing.

Everyone will experience the following:

International Cocktails
Shake up some of the most popular classic and contemporary concoctions from around the world including the Sling, Mule, Daiquiri, Bramble and many more. Alternatively, for those who prefer not to drink you can create some superb tasting fresh fruit smoothies and learn how to cut eye catching garnishes with a selection of exotic fruits.

The Knowledge
Experiment and layer the more exotic and rare spirits. Learn the density of different spirits, Liqueurs and juices and then create your own layered cocktail and shooter.

The Fun Flair
This is the art of moving and shaking! Our Flair School instructor will develop a small routine with each group to put into practice behind the bar. A great opportunity to impress your colleagues with the ultimate Tom Cruise moves!

The Competition
The best bartender from each group will fight it out to create the
perfect cocktail using their new knowledge from new skills learnt.
Prizes are given to teams for the most knowledgeable and the most inventive.

Duration:
This workshop usually lasts between 2-3 hours.

Watch and learn from professional cocktail mixologists, then after making a few well known cocktails, guests shop for ingredients and make their own. Throughout the event guests will learn about flavour profile and deconstucting of the spirits and be given various ingredients to squeeze, taste and smell. 

After an introduction and expert demonstration on how to use the cocktail equipment each group will make some well known cocktails and once they have mastered the equipment (or not) they will then select their own ingredients to adapt a well known cocktail to one of their own.

This event is a great way to bring people together creating an environment that promotes creativity, communication and co-operation among participants.

Format:
The professional resident Cocktail Master will demonstrate how to make a selection of cocktails. Then he will hand over to the group to have a try for themselves. Groups will need to copy the chefs examples and create a new cocktail of their own creation. This can be a competition style event if required with our cocktail Master and assistants being the judges.  The final cocktail creations can be served at pre-dinner drinks or as a final drink before guests depart.

Then it’s on to the team event where the group is divided, each team creating and naming their own cocktail before taking part in a fun cocktail quiz.

The cocktails and quizzes will be judged by the bartender and the winning team chosen. All the group will also recieve a stainless steel cocktail shaker
