Our cocktail making events are designed to be interactive, fun, shared experiences for everybody, taught by professional Mixologists.
Not only will guests leave the event knowing how to mix, muddle and mash some tasty classic cocktails but they’ll also build up their cocktail knowledge with fun facts and interesting stories along the way.
For example, did you know that Winston Churchill liked a very dry martini?
His secret was to fill the glass with gin, glance at a bottle of vermouth sitting on the shelf, and drink.
Or, did you know the classic James Bond quote "Martini. Shaken, not stirred!" has been the subject of controversy? Martini connoisseurs claim that this is a mistake in the books and argue shaking gin "bruises" the drink, however Fleming liked his drinks shaken and believed that stirring a drink diminishes its flavour.
Please note that the techniques mastered during our cocktail making sessions will be far more adventurous than Churchill's martini, and experimenting with flavours and different ways to make cocktails is a must, so by the end of the masterclass, guests will be able to decide whether they prefer their drinks shaken or stirred.
