The Operation Power Play format creates an opportunity for the delegates to explore good communication and to work as a team in a non-work and fun environment. It engenders great trust and team spirit amongst each other and leads to a greater understanding back in the workplace.

The proposed event has a specific overall objective that requires a collaborative team effort to achieve, thus allowing all delegates to interact with each other in varying roles. The format for the event is known as ‘Operation Power Play' which involves;

Your company has been entrusted with the final prototyping, building and ultimate launch of the rocket which will lift a revolutionary power distribution satellite system into orbit. Rival companies will stop at nothing to prevent the launch from taking place, up to and including the physical destruction of the launch site. Your delegates have been co-opted on to a physical and mental training programme to train in the development and launch of the rocket.

This format involves a number of tasks and requires the team to build a prototype rocket and launch the final vehicle for a professional launch pad.

We can incorporate a specific set of your objectives, to be agreed in advance, into the event and thus explore various individual and team dynamics. These may be taken from the particular training initiatives in the Health and Safety that they will be presenting. We will use the event format as a way of extracting & promoting the skills and lessons by having the delegates take part in various high impact and cerebral tasks.

Crashed Plane Rescue Mission
A real aeroplane has crash landed on an island. You are the recovery team and have answered the may day call...you must reach the island and rescue your colleague. Teamwork/Communication

Mohawk Walk
Can your team complete the sections of wires without touching the ground? You will never talk so much in such a short space of time....!!! Great for bringing a team together

Bob Push

Sky Walk

High Rope Course
Full of exciting challenges, some will test your head for heights while others will rely on teamwork to succeed. Situated between 10 ft and 40 ft off the ground your team can undertake several personal and group challenges. Teamwork and Delegation

The Gun Run
Just like the Royal Tournament your team has to run with a gun over a course and build a bridge, break the gun down and be first across the finishing line.

Raft Build
A timeless classic. We have a man made lake that is designed for this event. Build your own raft with the kit provided and negotiate the lake in a time trial against the other teams.
Teamwork and Leadership

Trebuchet Duel
Construct this life sized 16th Century weapon of war....the aim is to build it quicker and better than the other teams...points are scored for the most amount of missiles launched successfully over the castle wall...(works well as a fun finale event especially if you aim at each other and use wet sponges! ! !) Ideal as a mass finale event

Traverse
No ordinary assault and ropes course. This stretches deep into the woods and is a great team activity with delegates having to help and support each other as they go. Cowstails, wobbly
logs.monkey bars, see saw logs and scramble nets. Everyone loves and assault course!

Build a tower of crates...a great event that requires real teamwork.

Leap of Faith
Take yourself to the edge of your comfort zone and leap from a 35ft telegraph pole into the abyss.

Powerturns
Wild machines with 2 engines and 2 steering controls....can you control your partner let alone the vehicle?

Archery
Classic medieval event...the Gold bull's-eye scores the big points!

Cross Bows
Learn how to use these awesome weapons ......a great alternative team event.

Climbing Wall
Whether you are an experienced rock climber or a complete novice, why not try this spectacular discipline. At 40ft, our outdoor wall is one of the tallest in the UK.

Blindfold Driving
The driver of the 4x4 vehicle is blindfolded and has to negotiate a coned course with the help of directions from the passenger/team-mate. Instructions even when shouted, are not necessarily obeyed.

Quad Bike Rally
A race against the clock over a purpose built course...hills, ditches and lots of mud!!! We have a variety of interesting formats to use these fun machines including completing a crossword puzzle or our famous ‘Dinner Service Derby' involving transporting an entire dinner service including cakes and jellies across a testing course.

Quad Bike Crossword
Quads biking as a cerebral task! Your team are required to gather information from around the course, using only quads as the mode of transport. The information maybe of a cryptic or numerical nature. Accurate feed back of info to central control is critical.

Rage Buggy Enduro
Outrageous fun......can you complete more laps than the opposition aboard these amazing vehicles.

Clay Pigeon Shooting
We are looking for the Top Gun of the day (suitable for all ages, sexes and abilities)

Target Range - Pro Spec Rifle Shooting
Using pro-spec pistols and air rifles, teams shoot at a variety of testing targets, traditional or otherwise.

4 x 4 Off Road Adventures
Experience our purpose built Quarry course with axle breaking ditches, muddy slopes and tabletops. Improve your driving skills and build your confidence.

Zip Wire
Clamber aboard a tiny platform and leap across our lake attached to our famous Zip Wire - a 350 feet scream across water-EASY!
