“Queen of the Riviera”, Torquay has been one of the UK’s top holiday destinations since Victorian Times, when the gentry promenaded, bathing huts were wheeled down the beaches and top socialites had charming villas overlooking the sea. It was the Victorians who first used the Riviera name to describe their favourite resort and their legacy remains to this day with beautiful gardens around the seafront and elegant Victorian facades along the main streets.
Torquay's Waterfront is the focus of life in the town.
Here you'll find the palm-lined promenade, seafront gardens, a lively harbour and an international marina. Living Coasts Wildlife Attraction is a new centre piece and around is a growing promenade of stylish cafes and restaurants. Yet within minutes of the town centre there are beautiful beaches easily accessible by foot, road or water.
The city centre can be used as your base if you would like to take part in a treasure hunt, Spy Mission or take part in spy-themed team building activities.
If you would prefer an adrenaline-fuelled multiactivity day, head to the surrounding countryside where you can combine motorised activities (such as blindfold driving, 4x4 driving and quad bikes), field sports (such as clay shooting, archery and laser clays) and classic and original teambuilding challenges.
As part of an activity package, our event management team will be happy to put together:
- Accommodation
- Meeting Rooms & Conferencing
- Dining
- Evening Entertainment
