 Overview:
Inspired by two of our most popular events, chocolate making and treasure hunts, we’ve combined the two and have created the ultimate team building event in the city.
Half of the event is spent along the South Bank searching for clues and earning points in the treasure hunt challenge and the rest of the time is spent in the chocolate kitchen making luxurious homemade chocolates, all created with the finest ingredients and lovingly crafted by your own hands.
Format:
Guests are greeted on the South Bank by the master chocolatier, who’ll brief the group about the tasks ahead, he’ll divide everyone into teams (if you haven’t already) and give each team a pack, which will include clues, maps, digital cameras, refreshments and chocolate money. Then the rest is up to the teams! It’s a race against the clock and teams need to act quickly to complete the hunt, they can use their chocolate coins to negotiate and bribe members of the public for help and information.
Each team have four clues to solve, a scavenger list to complete and their photography skills will be tested. Teams have to be strategic when planning their route to ensure they collect as many points as possible on the treasure hunt.
Once teams get to the chocolate workshop, they’ll create a selection of tasty chocolates using the finest ingredients (including Green & Blacks chocolate) and a variety of techniques. During the event guests make spiced chocolates, giant buttons or chocolate bars and truffles. Once the chocolates are set, guests use professional decorating techniques to personalise their hand-made chocolates, such as cut, dip and decorate.
The event concludes with fun prizes awarded to the winning teams for their speed, creativity and overall teamwork. Everyone leaves with ribbon-tied packages filled with their very own hand-made treats.
