Half Day Team Challenge

Half Day Team Challenge
More Team Building Activities Activities

Overview:
Breathe in some fresh country air and enjoy some exhilarating team building, shooting or motorised activities at this brilliant activity site located on a farm in the heart of the Kent countryside.

With a series of team building challenges in deep in woods your team will hone their communication and decision making skills. All of the tasks are impossible to complete as individuals, so good team work is paramount. Your group will have to cross into enemy territory and complete a number of tasks before conquering the enemy camp. The activities are not physically demanding but require excellent planning and you'll have to make sure you maximise the skills of every member of your group.

You will take compete two or more the following challenges:

Memory Game:
A great test of communication and speed, this activity requires everyone to use a bit of old fashioned memory power. A series of numbered cards are laid out on the ground and it is your team's task to turn over the cards in order. The catch? Only one person can race out to turn over one card at a time, replacing the card face-down unless it's next in order. Tricky and fun, this will have everyone working together as they try and remember where each numbered card is!

Escape the Prison:
Your team is trapped in a prison surrounded by a lethal electric fence (a cordoned off area in the woods in reality). Your challenge will be to get all of your team out of the prison without touching the fence - a lone wooden pole the only tool you have to complete your task. You'll need lateral thinking and logic.

Construction Test:
Using a series of wooden beams and rope, your task will be to build a construction that will support a number of your team members above the ground. If any of your team were in the Scouts this is where their skills will be more than useful. You'll be racing against the clock, so you need to think quickly and decisively and get building.

The Gorge Cross:
Your team will be left on the edge of a treacherous gorge (a small watery gully), and your mission will be to construct a bridge to safely get every member of your team across. Teams will have to deduce the safest way to get across while using only basic equipment and ingenious thinking!

Minefield:
One member of your team will be blindfolded and find themselves marooned in the middle of a treacherous minefield. it be the job of the rest of the team to guide them safety through the minefield without treading on any of the mines. This may sound easy but helpful words like 'left', 'right' and 'stop' will all be banned and replaced with noises instead, which is bound to have to have your team laughing their socks off.
