Overview:
Turn your event into an action packed full day by adding some fun team building challenges. This can be added as an afternoon event or combined with your existing one to create a full day. This event is a fantastic form of indoor or outdoor entertainment that combines teambuilding and hilarity!
A group will typically be split into several teams and participate in a series of light-hearted fun games, tasks and quizzes designed to test team working, communication, problem solving and time management.
It’s a Numbers Game:
A great test of teamwork, communication and speed, this activity requires everyone to use a bit of old fashioned memory power. A series of numbered cards is laid out on the ground and it is your team’s task to find the numbers and place them in order. The catch? One person can race out to turn over one card at a time, replacing the card face-down unless it fits into the correct order. Tricky and fun, this will have everyone working together as they try and remember where each numbered card is!
Minefield:
A member of your team will be blindfolded as they try and navigate safely through a deadly minefield. The only guidance they will have is from the other members of the team who will be using a variety of sound signals to guide them. A good laugh and definitely not as easy as it looks!
Magic Stick:
Each team is given a ‘Magic Stick’. The aim of this exercise is for the team to lower the stick to the ground – making sure that all the team members are in contact with the stick at all times. The only thing is, the stick is Magic and doesn’t want to go down – it wants to go up!
Blindfold Tents:
A chance to put all that camping experience to the test! Teams will compete against each other to erect a tent. The catch? The only members of the team that can touch the tent is blindfolded!
Giant Egg Tower:
Which team can build the highest tower? The tower has to be strong enough to hold a cream egg and can only be made out of paper and Sellotape!
Spaghetti Bridge:
Lets get building! The teams are required to build a suspension bridge with as large a span as possible. The only equipment the teams have to use is spaghetti and Sellotape!
Mr Wiggle:
A hilarious exercise! The teams are asked to stand in a circle and hold hands when an inner tube is placed around the arm of one of the team members. The whole team then need to pass through the tube as many times as possible without breaking the chain!
Paper Aeroplane:
All that practice at school should now pay off! The teams need to make a paper aeroplane using only paper and paperclips – can your plane fly further than the instructor’s?
Catch Phrase:
This exercise is made up of a mix of fun maths puzzles, brain teasers and catch phrases – all requiring lateral thinking. Which team can solve each of the puzzles first?
Giant Games:
You will have a chance to win as many points as possible competing against another team in a selection of giant games. It is a first come, first served format where you have to challenge a member of an opposing team. Games include Giant Jenga, Connect 4, dominoes, chess, tavern puzzles, Snakes and Ladders, Twister and more.
