An inspired and motivated workforce is essential for any business that wants to outperform the competition. How do you motivate people? What kind of leadership do people respond to? What events will enthuse them? Where do you go to source suitable events? 

Overview:
This centre on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park provides you with the ultimate natural adventure playground. This is the ideal environment for team building activity and the tasks devised  contain the challenges needed to highlight management skills, leadership principles and ensures an exhilarating time is had by all. Programmes are suitable for all ages and abilities no matter what position within the organisation.

All packages can be tailored to suit a groups’ requirements. However, to give you some inspiration, below are some example teams building packages that have proven successful before.

Cribbarth golf (Physical game)
This game is inspired by tournament golf. Participants have go around the whole course placing the ball into the holes this involves a combination of fitness team co-operation and fun.

Orienteering skills will be taught and will need to be utilized in order to negotiate the course.

Teams use homemade golf clubs to move a ball across difficult terrain. To successfully complete the course they will need to traverse streams, dry stone walls and steep terrain.

The winners are the team home first or the team with the lowest score.

Duration – Approx 3 hours

Camel trophy (Physical game)
This game is inspired by the off road 4x4 challenge of the same name. The themes of that race are repeated in this memorable event – teams negotiating a number of natural obstacles, challenges and impediments with the aim of getting their vehicle across the finishing line first.

This game requires a degree of physical fitness and highlights team work, group dynamics, co-operation and leadership skills. The vehicle has to be moved through the stunning countryside of the National Park involving rivers, traveling through caves and crossing open water with rafts.

Duration – Can last one or two days

Night Visions (Problem solving activity)
Here the participants are asked to prepare some topics that may be difficult to discuss in the work environment. The group is then taken on a night walk or navigation exercise. Participants are split in to small groups and given the chance to discuss the topics in a unique environment.

Facilitation of the discussions can be provided if needed and agreement on how best to make any necessary changes when back in the work place.

Duration – Approx 4 hours

Operation fast mover (indoor game)
Teams have to work together using equipment provided to design and build a piece of machinery to meet a customers needs.

This game really tests the co-operation within the team will require a high level of leadership, delegation, task focus and communication skills.

Time and budget will be factors as the team work to complete the order for the customer.
