Highland Games Teambuilding

Highland Games Teambuilding
More Team Building Activities Activities

This world class multi activity centre just 40 minutes south of Edinburgh will provide a stunning backdrop for your team's activities. Whether you want a day of adrenaline filled quad biking and shooting or filled with traditional highland games, this centre will exceed all expectations and give all participants the chance to experience a taste of Scotland and its distinct natural beauty. Try a combination of the following activities:

Clay Pigeon Shooting:
Clay Pigeon Shooting is ideal as part of a multi activity package for groups and for individuals. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, participants will learn the skill of breaking clays. The activity commences with instruction on how to stand correctly, how to mount the shotgun into your shoulder and consistently hit the clay targets. Following sufficient practice shots for confidence to be gained, the activity moves onto a competition where participants can compete on an individual basis or in teams.

Quad Biking:
The session commences with a safety briefing where riders are shown how to handle the quads, how to get the most out of the machines and a practice on the course. Teams or individuals compete around a timed course to complete the circuit in the fastest possible time. Riders alternate at regular intervals to make sure that all participants have equal race time on the course.

Highland Games:
Why not inject a little Scottish flavour into your activity day with Highland Games activities where everyone gets the chance to participate in traditional Highland events and sports. Perfect for any group size events can be combined events such as Tossing the Caber, Weight over Bar, Hurling the Welly, Tug O' War, The Haggis Malt Challenge, Highland Dancing and Bagpipe Playing. Or you can go the whole hog and we will organise actual heavyweight athletes for demonstrations and exhibitions within a main arena. We can add on complementary activities such as a pipe band, dog & duck trials and a craft fair to provide a truly memorable day.

Note:
Mavis Hall can provide waterproof clothing but we recommend that guests bring their own wet weather gear and sturdy footwear that do not mind a bit of mud. Unfortunately the venue does not provide changing room facilities.
