The Call of the Wild
This is one of Chillisauce's top events for clients looking for a totally unique and superior team building day in one of the top locations in the UK. Operation Survivor is set in the magnificent Brecon Beacons national park, the training ground of none other than the SAS. The day is designed to promote teamwork and challenge team members to work together effectively towards a common goal. This is an excellent way to integrate newer team members into an established group or for entirely new groups to get to know one another and build trust in a fun environment.
The format and objectives
It's the call of the wild as this event follows the theme of survival in the wilderness in the majestic surrounds Brecon Beacons. By the end of the event groups will cover the principal elements of survival in the wild and learn how to communicate and work as a team when faced with proposed life/death situations.
Skills to be achieved:
- The will to live and priorities of survival
- The safe use and maintenance of cutting tools
- Advanced camping skills
- Primitive shelter construction
- Fire-lighting techniques
- First Aid
- Wilderness food identification
- Tracking and catching food
- Basic navigation
Operation: Survivor is probably the most exciting way for people to learn the merits of adapting to a new environment while learning advanced survival skills. This is a tough event so a basic level of fitness is advisable but participants by no means need to be hardcore 'SAS' level athletes.
Expert Instructors
Every instructor in Operation:Survivor is a former UK Armed Forces Survival Instructor so your group will be in extremely good hands.
Duration
This is a two day and two night event with the last night spent in one of the premier fishing lodges in mid-Wales.
Prize giving
The final evening will be dedicated to a prize-giving ceremony after two days of hard work.
