Overview:
Get your team communicating and working together with a mix of exciting teambuilding activities.
Chariot Racing:
Build and race your own chariot in this unique and hilarious event. After obtaining the parts needed to build your chariot you'll have to decide on a design and then construct the vehicle. When you've finished your wheels, you'll then have to speed around a short course with a member of your team (we recommend the lightest person!) on board in a time trial against other teams.
Human Table Football:
Do you like humans? Do you like tables? Do you like football? If the answer is 'yes' to all three you'll love a game of human table football. Brilliant fun, you'll be attached to giant poles on an inflatable 5-a-side pitch and will only be able to move from side to side. This game is ideally suited to any footballers who love having a kick about but don't like running!
Diffuse the Bomb:
Lives are at risk unless your team can diffuse a bomb before it explodes and blows everyone to smithereens. You'll have to work together to decipher a series of clues which will in turn reveal the code to diffuse the bomb. One member of the team will be with the bomb, relaying the clues to the other members of the team who will in a self-built bomb shelter. Strong leadership and excellent communication under pressure will be essential as the countdown timer on the clock will be ticking ominously!
Treasure Island:
There's treasure to be plundered, but to get to the treasure island you have to cross a treacherous path littered with dangerous obstacles. The only equipment your group will have are boxes and planks and the task will be to get to the island without anyone falling into the quicksand (touching the ground). Excellent communication and trust in your teammates is key as you shuffle towards the booty.
Spider's Web:
The spider's web is a tangled mass of ropes which you'll have to weave your way though with the help of your teammates. No two people can take the same route and to make matters even harder, the person manoeuvring through the web will be blindfolded and it will be up to the rest of the team to guide them through without awakening the spider and incurring penalty points.
Ballista Build:
Work together to construct a ballista (catapult) to complete a series of team challenges. The clock will be ticking as your team have to launch a variety of objects at a series of targets, with points of offer for the catapult which can fire the furthest.
Human Sheep Herding:
This activity is baaa-rilliant fun. After appointing a shepherd the rest of the group will don blindfolds and it'll be the shepherd's job to guide the flock into their pen. You may think this sounds easy but normal methods of communication (ie. words) will be banned and the shepherd will have to communicate using only 'noises' so it could well be a dog's bark for left, a cow's moo for right, and a cat's miaow for straight ahead- whatever noises you use it's bound to have the whole team in stitches!
Egg Flirt:
You can probably throw an egg miles but how far could you propel one from a contraption made from a load of spare parts? You'll have to work together to design and build an egg launcher capable of tossing an egg out of sight. To make matters harder no team members will be allowed to touch the egg at any point, and of course a broken egg won't go very far, so keep clumsier members of the team away from it!
Pyramids:
This is a real brain-teaser. You have five different blocks piled up to make a pyramid. The blocks are numbered 1-5- 5 being the largest and on the bottom. On the floor you have two mats numbered 2 and 3. The task is to get all the blocks on to mat three in the same order as they were on mat one. All blocks must pass through mat two and no higher numbered block can be lowered on to a lowered numbered block. The winning team is the one who completes the challenge in the fastest time. Sounds simple doesn't it?
Entrapment:
A bit of general knowledge will come in useful here as your group have to assist two members of your team through a labyrinth of questions, hotspots and arrows. Participants will only have a limited amount of time to make it across the grid, and unless they are able to answer the questions correctly, with the help of the rest of the team, they'll be trapped.
Cranium:
Get your brain and your hands working in perfect unison. Top teamwork is essential as teams must build a freestanding device capable of manually lifting a bucket of water from the ground to a height of 3ft using only the basic equipment provided.
Chemical Catasrophe:
There's been a chemical spillage and one member of your team must remove containers using a rope and pulleys, but he/she will be blindfolded and will rely on the rest of the team for guidance.
Blindfold Tent Race:
Put your camping skills to the test and compete against each other in a race to erect a tent. The catch? The only members of your team who can touch the tent are blindfolded. The first team to put up the tent and get inside, wins.
Block Puzzle:
Using wooden blocks, you must construct a shape to replicate the one diplayed. This is nowhere near as easy as it sounds.
It's A Numbers Game:
A great test of memory, communication and speed. Your team's task is to retrieve numbered cards from the ground in order. The cards will be laid face down and members of your team will go up one at a time and overturn one card. If it's the next card in the sequence they can bring it back, if not they have to replace it. A photographic memory will be a big advantage!
Duration:
Each activity will last around 45 minutes.
