Surrey Cookery Workshop in Central London

Overview:
Get your team's taste buds tingling with a fun filled, interactive cookery workshop that will challenge everybody, no matter how good (or bad) they are in the kitchen. 

Food is a great way to bring people together and this event is all about having fun and interacting with colleagues, learning new skills (and showing off hidden talents) while cooking and eating a selection of scrumptious dishes.

Teams prepare a series of different recipes under the guidance of Professional Chefs, who will be on hand offering advice, tips and techniques to ensure that you make the tastiest food possible.

This is a great event with lots of scope for learning and being creative.

About the Cookery School:
This event takes place at a cookery school with state-of-the-art facilities, located in Central London.

Cook and Dine Format (up to 25 people):
This is the perfect event to inspire and entertain a small team or group of clients! Under the watchful eye of a professional chef, teams will put together a mouth-watering three-course menu. All equipment and fresh ingredients are provided for each team to use. A relaxed and convivial dining experience to follow with a few well earned glasses of wine and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the company of your guests and colleagues! There is the option to put a competitive spin on proceedings and create the ultimate team experience!

Sample Menus for Cook and Dine:
Seasonal:
Watercress soup with a chive creme fraiche
Roasted cod fillet with peas, buttered leeks and a smoked haddock veloute
Vanilla flavoured panna cotta with poached rhubarb and a shortbread biscuit

Asian:
Asian spiced tiger prawns with a soy dipping sauce and mizuna leaves
Steamed fillet of sea bass with pak choi, asian vinaigrette and rice noodles
Caramelised pineapple upside down cake with lemongrass drizzle and Chantilly cream

Moorish:
Spiced chick pea and tomato soup with a black olive tapenade crouton
Moroccan spiced guinea fowl with cous cous royale, cumin scented carrots and a mint and coriander dressing
Apricot and lemon cake with a star anise syrup and citrus yogurt


Taster Format (up to 100 people):
The format of the taster event is more informal than the cook and dine workshop. In the contemporary open plan space, this is the ideal event for networking with clients or celebrating with your team. Tour the kitchen and sample the delights of a variety of cooking stations, each managed by an experienced chef. Rest assured, it will be participants cooking the whole way!

Meat ‘a la plancha’, new potatoes and seasonal wild mushrooms
Poached fish in a fresh and aromatic broth with fragrant rice
Sea bream coriander and sesame maki rolls with wasabi and soy
Oeuf en cocotte with sliced truffle and foie gras
Pastilla of chorizo, goat’s cheese with a sherry drizzle
Pan fried Scallops with wilted fennel and sauce vierge
Dark chocolate fountain with a selection of dipping ingredients
Classic French crèpes with a selection of delicious fillings

Beat the quiz by putting your taste buds to the test to try and identify what you are tasting.
