Zip Wire
A truley exhilarating activity and the closest to thing to flying that most of people will ever have the chance to experience!
Climbing and Abseiling
With a variety of styles of hand and foot holds incorporated into the sides of the tower gives several different grades of climbing routes.
Free Fall Abseiling
Hang like a spider in space! Free fall abseil through the tree canopy from the platform raised 30 metres above the ground.
Giant Tree Climb
The members of the team are required to work together to ascend a giant tree. You will spiral up the trunk, using the fixed ropes and steps, with the principle emphasis being looking out for each other.
Low Ropes Course
The ropes, wires, platforms and other course elements that make up the "obstacles" are no more than 50cm high but team members must remain off the ground as they negotiate the course. Throughout the activity, team members perform crucial roles directly supporting and encouraging each other and the individuals must work as a team to successfully complete the course.
Group B
Team Challenge course
This activity has been designed to encourage participants to think about cooperating and supporting one another. It consists of a series of large structures and obstacles that have to be negotiated.
Problem Solving
This activity has been designed to encourage cooperative problem solving. It requires a thinking approach that benefits from the creativity of many minds.
Orienteering and Treasure Hunts
Orienteering exercises both the mind and the body, with the aim being to navigate in sequence between control points marked on a map and decide the best route to complete the course in the quickest time.
Construction Challenge
The "big builds" involve creating giant structures such as bridges or platform from pioneering poles and rope.
Archery
Set in one of England's oldest hunting reserves, where better to pull a few strings and loose some arrows?
Axe throwing
Axe throwing is more about relaxation and rhythm than brute strength.
Air rifles
Team members can take aim and practise their shot in the firing range. Once they have gained in confidence and mastered the necessary skills the shooting competition begins!
