Overview:
Develop your skills and become a professional chocolatier creating your own handmade delights. Under expert tutelage you will make and decorate exquisite chocolates to your own unique recipes. You can make your chocolates individually or in teams with prizes on offer for best chocolate and best decorated lolly.

Format:
The event will start with a demonstration by a professional chocolatier who will talk you through the techniques required to produce the perfect choc. Then it will be your turn to produce unique ganache (cream/chocolate based filling) using a wide range of natural ingredients which you will pipe into chocolate moulds.

Whilst the chocolates are chilling, everyone will be taught how to professionally decorate chocolates using fine piping techniques. After a brief practice session, you'll put your new skills to the test in a lolly decorating competition.

The chocolate moulds will then be topped off and returned to the fridge. Whilst the chocolates are setting answers are given to the teams for the chocolate quiz which they should have been working on during the first part of the event.

The chilled chocolates will them be 'demoulded', and everyone will decorate their own chocolates, the best of which will be forwarded to the judging table. If you're taking part in teams, each team will have to name and come up with a logo and slogan for their products. The judges will mark the teams on the originality of their chocolates and the quality of their presentations.

Everyone will have their own box of chocolates (usually 20 chocolates) and a lolly which can all be beautifully wrapped to take home to impress your friends and family.

Overview:
This fast paced event involves teams earning poker chips in order to launch their own chocolate brand. Teams have to pay for equipment and raw ingredients to make their chocolates and create a marketing fund to support their product. To earn the money teams can complete logical, physical and mind-bending challenges as well as quizzes. Once teams have earned the necessary money, they can start making chocolates under the expert guidance of professional chocolatiers.

After a professional chocolatier demonstrates the art of chocolate making to the group, the teams start to complete the challenges and develop their brand identity. When they're earned enough chips to buy equipment and ingredients, the chocolate making begins.

Under the guidance of the professionals the teams will then produce their own mouth-watering chocolates. Teams will have to continue building up their marketing fund by completing more challenges, so must decide how to best utilise everyone's skills.

There will also be a lolly decorating competition in which everyone will have the chance to display their decorating genius.

At the end of the session the teams will pitch their product to the rest of the group. The teams will be judged on their presentation, the originality of their chocolates and the amount of money they have accumulated in their marketing fund. The winning team takes home a hamper and everyone gets to take home the chocolates they have made.

Overview:
This interactive and enjoyable demonstration and tasting session is a great interlude for any conference, product launch or networking event. Able to run as one session or a series of shorter sessions, this experience is one to be savoured.

The session starts with a fun and informative chocolate history lesson which takes you on a journey from the Aztec emperor Montezuma to the magic of chocolate making in the present day. This will be interspersed with interactive demonstrations and tastings.

Your group will be given an plethora of unusual chocolate flavours to sample such as chilli, watercress and salt as well as plenty of other flavours from around the world. The professional chocolatier will then demonstrate the art of chocolate making with the help of some willing volunteers for the audience.

Each delegate will then be given a box of 8 premium handmade chocolates to take away.

Teams are guided on how to develop a marketing plan and product strategy, including designing their own packaging. Additional training then comes from a professional chocolatier who instructs and supports the delegates in the creation of their own unique handmade chocolates. At the end of the day, each team pitches their company to potential ‘investors' in ‘Dragons Den' style!

Morning Session
After a short welcome and overview of the day each team will be set the challenge of planning and launching their own chocolate company. Using interactivity and group work, teams will be guided through the following areas:

Afternoon Session 
After a relaxing lunch, teams regroup and learn the essential skills of chocolate making. Guided by a professional chocolatier, teams will produce their own unique recipes (in line with their target market and marketing strategy) and create a range of handmade chocolates. Finally, chocolates are placed in the designed packaging and in true ‘Dragons Den' fashion, each team will pitch their company, brand and product offer to potential ‘investors'. With a hamper for the winning team, the day reaches an exciting conclusion - but with chocolates to take away no-one leaves empty handed!

Overview:
The Choc Attack Challenge is a firm favourite with everyone. The objective of this event, is for teams to build a box of original chocolates within a limited time scale and budget. They must also create the packaging and design a marketing strategy to sell their chocolate sensation.
This event stimulates the groups creativity and thinking, encourages ideas, adaptations and innovations. Members of the team will be able to learn the value of a group effort and to be aware of budgetary control, as well as having a great time as a whole group.

Format:
Teams will create and make a selection of chocolates and then design a suitable marketing strategy, taking into account the sector, pricing, promotion, profit and brand. Teams will then present their ideas to the panel of judges and create an advert to promote their chocolates.
The end product will be scored on quality, profitability, originality, teamwork, variety and effectiveness of the marketing plan. Presentations at the end of the session prove to be a hilarious and great end to a perfect team challenge!

1.5 to 2.5 hours.

Overview:
Combining an introduction to brand marketing with an interactive, fun-filled chocolate making session, this event challenges delegates to create and launch a new chocolate brand in an action packed 4 hours! Teams are guided on how to identify a target market, develop a brand and prepare a communication plan for a new premium chocolate range. Professional chocolatiers instruct and support the delegates in the creation of their own unique handmade chocolates. At the end of the session, each team pitches their brand to potential ‘investors’ in ‘Dragons Den’ style!

Format:

Finally, chocolates are placed in the packaging and in true ‘Dragons Den’ fashion, each team will pitch their brand and product offer to potential ‘investors’.

With a hamper for the winning team, the session reaches an exciting conclusion – but with chocolates to take away, no one leaves empty handed!
