Paintball in Reading

Paintball

What's more fun than dressing up in army fatigues, rolling around on the ground and plastering your mates with a barrage of well-aimed paint pellets? Not much, we're willing to wager. This extremely popular activity is guaranteed to please any group out for a few thrills and a lot of laughs.

Outdoor Paintball
Ever watched and been amazed by films such as Saving Private Ryan, A Bridge Too Far or Platoon? Paintball is the nearest you'll probably ever get to experiencing the skills and strategy needed for a combat-situation firefight.

Arranged over huge areas of varied countryside, each paintball centre offers several different game zones, with 'Storm the Fort' and 'Capture the Bridge' among the favourites, as well as the fast and furious new game of Speedball - exactly what it says...

Format
Teams will devise strategies, assaults, defence and all-out attacks to foil the enemy and take the prize. A fantastic day out for group bonding, or just a good excuse to gang up on the boss, stag or hen.

An average package can be arranged over a half or full day, with 100 paintballs to get started. Also provided are protective gear and camouflaged clothing as well as a semi-automatic 'marker'.

Indoor Paintball
The major difference between indoor and outdoor paintball (apart from the protection from the elements) is the closeness of the action. In outdoor paintball you can hide and snipe away while staying out of the main action. With indoor paintball, you're always in the thick of it. On the other hand, indoor paintball lacks the variety of game zones, though keeps everything compact so the action keeps coming around every corner.

Either way, kits plus a starter pack of ammo (usually 100 paintballs) are included.
