Overview: Reward your team with a fun filled multi activity day at a purpose built activity venue in Berkshire!
This multi activity day combines a range of activities from motorised and shooting to water-based and team building events, offering a little something for everyone - and the best part is you can choose the activities you do!
This event takes place at a unique activity venue nestling in rural countryside beside a 33 acre lake. Located in Reading, 40 minutes from Central London.
Conference requirements and team building activities all in one place... A charming hotel shares the site with the centre, and is ideal for an off-site team meeting before the activities. The hotel has plenty of conference rooms, the largest room has a capacity for up to 120 people (use of the hotel is not included in the package but can be organised at an additional cost).
Format: The format of the day varies depending on the size of the group. Typically, on arrival the group will be greeted by the Event Manager, who will give everybody a briefing of the day and divide the group into teams. Throughout the day teams rotate around the selected activities competing for points. The event concludes with a presentation and fun prizes for the winning teams.
Activities: For a full day event please choose six activities from the list below or for a half day event please pick three:
Motorised Activities (FUN): Motorised Beer Kegs Race around the slalom course with pit stops F1 style, exciting to ride, hilarious to watch.
Segways The ultimate off road personal transporters, compete head to head driving through the slalom course to achieve the quickest time.
Blind Driving Negotiate a tight course while blind folded, a seeing colleague in the passenger seat will guide you. An excellent trust and communication exercise.
Max Kats (for groups of up to 60 people) The original banana split vehicle, Max Kats are amphibious 6x6 vehicles that will go anywhere, mud, swamps and even cross lakes.
Quad Bike Obstacle These all terrain vehicles are made for all types of off road conditions. Their qualities will be put to the test over our challenging obstacle course, featuring both slalom and limbo sections.
Shooting Activities (COMPETITIVE AND LEARN A SKILL): Crossbows These weapons date back over 200 years, try your hand at shooting the 5 inch bolt at the bullseye target, a steady hand will be required to score in the Gold centre.
Air Rifle Scrabble Each player must shoot at the alphabet target, any letters hit are then used to make as many words as possible on the board to achieve a team score.
Laser Clay Shooting Indoors or Outdoors - Quick reflexes and a keen eye are needed for this challenge.
Archery Try your skill at this traditional sport, suitable for beginners or keen archers, after a practice session its time to shoot for a team or individual score.
Water Based Activities (CHALLENGING): Water Skiing (for groups up to 40 people) Start in the water on a fixed training bar at the side of the boat which makes it easy to get out of the water for the first time. Once you have mastered the training bar its on to the rope behind the boat.
Wakeboarding (for groups up to 40 people) Like waterskiing start on to a training bar at the side of the boat which makes it easy to get out of the water for the first time. Snowboarders and skateboarders find this sport a natural progression.
Banana Rides Experience the thrill of bouncing across the water being towed by the high powered water ski boat, hang on tight for a thrilling ride.
Kata Canoes The Kata Kanu is not a canoe! The hulls have been designed to work as a catamaran. They are slim for speed and have the right compromise of rocker for tracking / manoeuvring and the correct volume and buoyancy to safely support its recommended load even if swamped.
Raft Building Design your raft using the kit supplied to transport team members around the set course against opposing teams.
Build a Boat Each team will be given a build a boat kit of cardboard, plastic and various other materials and a brief to design a boat capable of carrying a team member around the course against opposing teams.
Team Building Activities (WORKING TOGETHER AND PROBLEM SOLVING): Human Table Football A hilarious game of 5/6-a-side with contestants only able to move sideways along the poles wearing a special harness, a great game with foam balls used for safety.
Sumo Wrestling Compete in this world famous sport, wearing a huge padded Sumo suit wrestler suit and helmet complete with top knot.
Rocket Design, build and test an air powered rocket, lots of opportunities to evaluate performance, modify and re-launch until you finally reach the target.
Watershute A pile of seemingly useless equipment is presented to the team, the challenge is to build a system capable of transporting the liquid gold through the course with out any spillage, design and building will be crucial to achieving success.
Rescue Barbie Save Barbie from the shark infested island in the quickest time, team members will be blindfolded and have to coordinate together to save Barbie within the time given.
Countdown Working against the clock teams have to retrieve sufficient liquid to recover the key to open the safe, before the alarm sounds.
Walking ski race The ultimate test of team co-ordination, as the whole team has to negotiate the course in the quickest time.
Wizard Photo Treasure Hunt Teams are given a set of photographs taken around the venue - they have to find the site of each photograph and copy down the information displayed there. All the information once retrieved is a brainteaser about Gandolf the wizard and his village friends.
Blind Sheep All the team members except the Shepherd are blindfolded, the Shepherd is then given the challenge of herding all the sheep through the maze safely, using only the communication tools provided.
Escape Using only the equipment provided the whole team must negotiate their way over the minefield and retrieve the designated equipment within the time given.
Bomb Teams are challenged to burst balloons and recover the eggs within them (unbroken of course).

Duration: This option is available as a full day (approx 6 hours) or half day (approx 3 hours) event. Activities last between 45 minutes to one hour.
