Oxford 100 Team Challenges

Overview:
100 team challenges is somewhat different to the typical working day. It's about having an enjoyable shared experience, where you allow yourselves to indulge in a selection of completely ludicrous activities. The only way teams can succeed is by working together, planning carefully and acting quickly.

So whether you think you have the artistic talents to replicate a Picasso masterpiece in 20 minutes, or the ability to make everyone laugh in seconds, the aim of the event is to complete as many of the 100 challenges as you can.

Format:
The event starts with each team receiving a team pack that includes details of the 100 challenges. As there are no rules to this event, teams need to manage their skills, time and decide how to tackle each challenge (whether five heads are better than one?). The day finishes with all teams coming together, where fun prizes are awarded to the winning teams.

Activities:
See examples of the challenges teams can do:

10 point challenges:
Name that tune!
The popular quiz round, where players are required to identify song names for points. Extra points are given for artist and year.

Whose line is it anyway?
Take to the stage and have your colleagues in stitches, as you improvise to a given random topic.

20 point challenges:
Balloon modeling
Using the instructions provided create a selection of animals using balloons.

Mummify a colleague
Wrap colleagues in bandages until they resemble Egyptian mummies.

30 point challenges:
Rubik's cube
Try and solve the world's top selling puzzle as quickly as you can!

Wish you were here
Test your geographical knowledge and identify a place from just a postcard.

40 point challenges:
Cryptic Challenges
Solve a selection of mind-boggling puzzles as quickly as you can.

Build a tower
Using only marshmallows and spaghetti build a tower. The higher the tower, the more points it's worth.

Finale (to make the event a full day):
Rollercoaster Challenge
Using a blueprint, teams construct a section of a giant roller coaster. If the basketball travels through your section without any hiccups you'll receive extra points.
