Overview:
With the return of Britain's toughest game show, The Krypton Factor to your screens in January 2009, Chillisauce are already ahead of the game by offering a brand new Krypton Factor style teambuilding activity to corporate groups! The activity will incorporate all the best bits from the hit TV series including tests in response, intelligence, observation, general knowledge and physical ability. We even bring along a mobile assault course to wherever the challenge is taking place! This event is a foolproof recipe for a day of laughter and learning with the added bonus of challenging employees and encouraging team work and communication.
(Gordon Burns and his bowl hair cut not included)
How it works:
• Delegates are divided into teams and briefed on how the day will run.
• Each team will be given their own ‘Krypton Factor' uniform with their teams coloured t-shirts.
• Teams will introduce themselves to each other and in true ‘cringe worthy' Krypton Factor style will introduce themselves to the rest of the teams via the medium of TV.
• Each team will be given a video camera and film a team introduction. All of the introductions will be shown to the whole group with the instructors marking each one out of 10.
• Every activity from then on will be scored out of 10; the teams will have a clipboard which they must carry round with them to each activity.
• Each activity will be based on one of the different categories from the original ‘Krypton Factor' these are; intelligence, observation, response, general knowledge and physical ability.
• The winning team will be the team that has the quickest overall time including time penalties.
The activities:
Pitch black Pouring
Teams transfer as much water as they can from one large bucket into a water container with 10 different levels using one cup at a time. The higher the team get the water the higher the points they will score. However, they must manoeuvre their way, one blindfolded team member at a time through a minefield and over trip wires in order to reach the safe zone and fill the water container up. Watch out for the bombs.
Building Blocks
Teams use their intelligence to build an object out of various blocks that they have been given. Teams will be shown a picture of what the finished product should look like and various clues and then start to build.
Memory Bank
Teams will be shown a mental sequence and then try and work out how it continues. There will also be a series of questions to test memory skills of the team. The points awarded will coincide with the number of questions answered correctly.
Look Listen and Learn
Teams will watch a clip from a unique film followed by a second similar clip which will have some minor differences to it. They will then identify as many differences as they can. For each difference identified, teams will receive an item of clothing to dress a mannequin. The team that dresses the mannequin the correct way will gain the most points.
Fingers At The Ready
All teams come together for this pre-finale quiz; a chance to gain some much needed points! The quiz will be based on general knowledge questions with a mixture from the past and present day knowledge.
Grand Finale Assault Course!
The assault course is a mixture of inflatable assault course, cargo net and tyre challenge. There will be two teams competing against each other at once with the whole team having to complete the assault course as quick as they can. Each team will be timed with the time penalty added on to their final time.
