Multi Activity Day near Northamptonshire

Multi Activity Day

Overview:
Whether you want to bomb around in a rage buggy, pilot a hovercraft, gun down clay pigeons or test your brain power with a challenging team building event, we have a great range of activities available. A full day will be made up of 6 or more activities, with a half day being a maximum of 4 activities. We recommend a mix of driving, shooting and team building activities to get the most from your action-packed day.

Driving Activities:

Argo Cats:
Get behind the controls of the vehicle that is designed to go absolutely everywhere. The 8-wheel cats won't be like anything you have ever driven before (unless you've been behind the controls of a tank) and if you're a bit lacking in coordination you may find the controls a bit tricky to master!

An instructor will first give a you crash course in handling the cats, which are steered by two levers controlling the wheels down either side. You'll have a quick practice on flat ground before driving it around a specially designed assault course.

Your group will take it in turns behind the controls and are guaranteed to be amazed at the versatility of the vehicles which can climb incredibly steep hills and even float on water!

Honda Pilots:
If you spend half your life in a seemingly never-ending traffic jam and have always wanted to have your driving skills tested to their limits, then a session behind the wheel of a Honda Pilot will fulfil your need for speed.

The 400cc engine Pilots guarantee a thrilling yet comfortable ride. Featuring independent suspension, a full multi-point roll cage and 4 point race harness, these machines are capable of speeds of up to 60mph. The Pilots run on a challenging grass track.

After a getting kitted out in a race helmet and having a safety talk from the instructor, each driver will have a number of practice laps before racing around the course against the clock. This can be followed by a team relay in which the team work together to as a pit crew to get their car and drivers out onto the track and racing. One Pilot will be tearing around the track whilst the other is swapping drivers in the pits. The clock will be ticking so burn rubber!

Hovercrafting:
You may have been on a hovercraft on a booze cruise, but unless you beat down the door and grabbed the controls from the pilot on the way home, you've unlikely to have driven one. Well, that's about to change.

After getting kitted out in all of the essential gear and being given a safety briefing, you'll get behind the wheel of the craft and under the tuition of expert instructors you'll (hopefully) get the hang of the controls fairly quickly.

The hovercrafts have 50bhp, 500cc engines and are capable of speeds of up to 90mph (although you'll be blasting around at about half of that speed), so your driving skills will be tested to the limit. You'll race in a time trial over a challenging purpose built course which requires deft handling and the ability to floor it when required. Hovercrafts don't have any brakes so if you make a mess of steering the results could be spectacular!

Micro Quads:
If quads are a bit big and powerful for you, or you're tiny, you'll love a session on the micro quads. Like a quad bike that's been accidentally been put through the hot wash, micro quads are small, but perfectly formed, mean machines.

You'll be equipped with helmet and given a safety briefing by the instructor before heading out onto the track in groups of three. After a practice session and relay race, you'll race head-to-head against other members of your group.

This activity is sure to get the adrenaline pumping as you fly around the course at speeds of up to 30mph, only inches from the ground. The stopwatch will be running so go full throttle and leave everyone trailing in your wake.

JCB Digger Challenge:
Ever gazed enviously at a workman behind the wheel of a JCB? Do you ever wish you could chuck in your 9-5 job and dig holes all day? If the answer's 'yes', you'll love a session behind the wheel of our mini JCB digger.

Your instructor (who has dug mass graves for despotic political regimes throughout the world) will give you a crash course in how to drive the digger and control the all important digging arm, before letting you loose in the vehicle.

You will compete against your team members in a series of challenges which will involve lifting objects such as footballs and dropping them into nets. You may think this sounds like a cinch but the manoeuvring a 1.5 tonne digger whilst trying to pick and drop against the clock is easier said than done!

Pacer Karts:
Put the pedal to the metal and burn rubber with a pacer kart session. If you drive a Fiat Panda, this is your chance to break the 40mph barrier.

Pacer karts are lower to the ground than conventional karts giving them excellent manoeuvrability. They're ideally suited to tight circuits where power slides are essential if you're going to post a quick lap time, and can reach speeds of 50mph.

After a full briefing from the expert instructors you'll be let loose on the speedy little machines. After a number of practice laps, you'll take part in an individual time trial where one kart will be in the pits whilst the other hares around the rack against the clock.

Reverse Steer Driving:
You may find driving a car simple, but how about driving a car where the steering is reversed? You turn left, the car turns right and visa versa. It doesn't sound that difficult in theory, but trust us you'll have to fight all of your instincts when you're behind the wheel.

After a briefing from your instructor you'll head out to a specially converted Land Rover Discovery in groups of 4. You'll have to drive round a challenging course which inevitably includes plenty of twists and turns which will certainly test your driving skills and brain power! This is the only event where not knowing your left from your right could possibly be an advantage!

Every driver's efforts will be timed so it's a test of whether you can maintain your composure under pressure and make it around the course without flattening any of the circuit markers and incurring time penalties.

Quad Biking:
Enjoy the mud and thunder of a high-octane quad biking session.

After a safety briefing from the instructors you will jump on board the quads and have 3 laps of the practice track to familiarise yourself with the bikes. Once the instructor is happy that everyone is up to speed, you'll head out in groups of 4 on a challenging trek through woodland, steep inclines and water hazards.

The 125cc quads are capable of speeds of up to 45mph and each rider will get around 25 minutes on the quads- more than enough time to open up the throttles and have your colleagues eating dust.

Rage Buggies:
Burn rubber behind the wheel of a feisty rage buggy. The 660cc buggies are capable of speeds in excess of 60mph and come equipped with a full suspension system and roll cage so put the pedal to the metal and leave your colleagues trailing in your wake!

After getting kitted out in all of the relevant equipment and having a safety briefing from a instructors, you'll hit the track. You'll race in a team relay format with one kar
