Event Programme:
1. Reception Cocktails
2. Mixology & Flair Demonstrations
3. ‘Generation Game' style activities
4. Spirit Tastings
5. Mixology Games
6. Prize Giving & Pre Dinner Drinks

Reception Cocktails:
Upon arrival guests are served a fresh fruit cocktail and shown to their seats.

Mixology & Flair Demonstrations:
Once your guests are seated, one of the world class flair bartenders will amaze guests with a quick flair routine to music- to grab their attention.

A mixology demonstration will follow showing some classic and contemporary cocktails, including some of our own creations- which can be passed around for tasting.

Generation Game:
Now the bar becomes interactive. Guests are split into teams and asked to observe carefully. After seeing cocktail methods demonstrated clearly, volunteers from each team will be asked to make the cocktails against the clock. The efforts will be marked out of ten. Some cocktails will require two people to make them, and there will be several rounds, (using different drinks & methods). Teams will also be able to participate in a flair round.

Rounds:

1. The Pour Off
Learn how to free pour accurately.

2. Pousse Café
Each table to make layered shots, wait for them to be marked and consume!

3. Flair
The teams will be shown a tandem move to music and come and perform to the crowd.

Spirit Tastings:
As an introduction to the Mixology Games guests will be treated to tasters of exotic and interesting spirits and liqueurs, tasted professionally as talked through by the bartenders. Guests will have an opportunity to try ingredients from around the world.

Mixology Games:
Remaining in teams, guests will be allocated a table- full of basic ingredients (like Vodka) and tools. A mystery sack will then be taken around full of exotic ingredients, half used often - like Vanilla pods, kumquats etc and some like onions, beef stock etc (still usable but it takes real skill to make a good drink with these ingredients). Teams will be asked to pick two items from the mystery bag blind. With their newly acquired knowledge of cocktail mixing methods and exotic spirits and liqueurs they will be invited to create their own cocktail. Groups can experiment until they have the perfect creation (they must use at least one mystery item). Teams will then nominate a bartender(s) to demonstrate their cocktail ...points will be awarded for style, taste, name, originality etc. - bartenders will mingle to add encouragement.

Prize Giving & Drinks:
We will award prizes for the ‘best bar team' and an individual prize for ‘the best bartender'. The bar will open for drinks and guests will have the opportunity to be entertained with more flair, and chat to the bartenders about Cocktails & Mixology.
