Overview:
Could this be the ultimate Christmas day out? Leave the ho-hum ‘drinks and nibbles with a Christmas CD' to other companies and take yours on a fun-filled day with challenges, games, drinks, prizes and - most importantly - an office's worth of happy workers. Whether you want to encourage disparate team members to get to know one another or just reward workers for their year of hard work, this mad cap day will put a Santa smile on everyone's face and the best part is all you have to do is turn up, we'll arrange the rest!
The Meal:
Each guest will enjoy a delicious Christmas buffet at a central London sports bar with fresh, cold meats, Neal's Yard cheeses, fishcakes, pure pork sausages, fresh bread and salads.
The Treasure Hunt:
The Chillisauce Christmas treasure hunt is a hilarious, interactive event, designed to test any team's planning, communication and time & team management skills, and it's also a great way to add an extra element of fun and festivity to Christmas season in the office.
Games start by teams being given a brief outline of the scenario, objectives and handed relevant advice and clues. Teams are then required to take part in the hunt based around the surrounding area, on foot, in taxis or minibuses.
During the event, guests will be working in teams of up to 8 on various team challenges and tasks. A company can compete amongst themselves or, subject to numbers, they can compete against other companies. We give you everything you need: the clues, training notes, Polaroid camera, torch, compass but after that you're on your own and the clock is ticking!
Activities will include:
Treasure hunt:
You will be given a route around your chosen venue with a selection of information-finding tasks and cryptic clues. These will enable you to find your way around the designed route. Will you get the right number from the phone box? Find the date on the smallest plaque? Or, if your boss allows, find the selection of pubs on the way around?
Photographic challenges:
Guests will have to complete a selection of fun Christmas themed photo challenges which will test their creativity and make them howl with laughter. Examples: Your team must re-create a Christmas nativity post card complete with three wise men and farmyard animals. The more creative and funny you are the more points your team will get.
Scavenger List:
Have you ever thought how you would find a balloon animal if you needed one urgently? Well this is just one example of the obscure scavenger list of items you will have to collect to earn more points. A two day old newspaper, a foreign coin and a witch's hat...easy?
Historic visits:
We look to take you to as many interesting places as possible and in London your team will pass views of the Tower of London, churches, museums and parks. We do not include tours and paid visits to historic venues but are happy to add this to your day on request and is an ideal way to add an extra time to your Christmas event.
Pub visits:
This event can be made as team building and business orientated as you wish. However if this is a reward event and you think your guests would enjoy a few pub visits we more than happy to add a selection of watering holes.
Team challenges:
However competitive or interactive you want your event we have the challenges for you. Extra points for taking a picture of other teams completing their photo challenges, catching them with any item of their scavenger list or competing against each other in pub games. You name it we can offer it!
The Presentation:
After the treasure hunt all the teams will assemble where they began and there'll be a prize giving with bubbly and mince pies for everyone and plenty of time for teams to see each other's (highly) embarrassing photographs.
The Games:
After the treasure hunt all your group will be fed, watered and possibly in the mood to get very silly. We've got 2 hours of perfect end-of-day games including a pool competition, quiz and hilarious giant Jenga and giant connect four that will keep everyone happy and in the Christmas spirit.
End of Day:
As the day draws into evening all guests are welcome to continue the festivities at the pub where a bar tab can be purchased or cash can be used.
Dates:
The dates are December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, with other dates on request.
Times:
Start 3pm - 8pm finish and guests are invited to continue at the bar.
Notes:
- This is a shared, non-exclusive event and guests can compete separately as a company or against other teams (subject to uptake).
- Minimum group size is 8.
- Exclusive events are available with a minimum of 100 guests.
- Cash or tab bar (with coloured wrist bands for individual companies).
