Watergate Bay boasts one of the best high tide breaks in the U.K.  It was the birthplace of long board surfing in this country back in the 60's and permits the opportunity to learn from those who have made surfing their life. The course starts on the beach with a comprehensive lesson in how to paddle out, catch a wave and stand up. Before you know it you'll be in the waves, up and surfing.

Lunch is not included but there is food available on the beach ranging from takeaway to a pleasant restaurant with a sundeck.
