This type of dance can be enjoyed at any age, its all about having a go and having fun.

Street dance covers all dancing styles that have evolved outside of dance studios in everyday spaces such as streets, school yards, raves and nightclubs.
As a relatively new dance style it is becoming increasingly popular; it’s hard to not see street dance in music videos and talent contests.
This type of dance involves a lot of team work, requiring people to work together and build trust with all members of the team.

The dance class can be tailored to suit the style of street dance you are most interested in or include a range of styles such as Hip-hop and Break Dance.

Format:
Everyone is greeted on arrival by dance tutors, to start on a fun warm up as a whole team. Get taught the dance steps and then break off into groups to test the moves in making a dance routine. End the class with ‘Showtime’ a chance for each team to present their dance to the others.

Learn some cool Hip Hop moves and get prepared for you own group battle for the streets. Learn how to Pop n Lock, and do the Six Step.

Prepare for an energising day of fun and thrills with our unique Thriller event! A brilliant option for team building, as an add-on to your meeting or conference, or as a standalone corporate event where your team will learn new talents and transform into all singing, all dancing zombies!

The event begins with you and your guests being shown the original Thriller video to get the group in the mood! Guests will then have the opportunity to learn a section of the choreography and then a total transformation will take place as guests get made up to look the part too!

Absolutely no dancing experience is required in order to participate, and even the most musically challenged will be surprised by what can be achieved!

Zombie Zone One
In this zone your guests will be transformed into funky dancing zombies! Our resident pop choreographer will then take you through your ‘zombie’ paces as you learn a section of moves to the Thriller dance. The choreography is suitable for all abilities and our choreographer works at a pace that is comfortable for everyone in the group.

Zombie Zone Two
Our creative costume designer/make-up artist who has worked on several shows and music videos will lastly teach your group how to create the perfect zombie look! You will be given various materials with which to create your own unique zombie identity and also be shown some special techniques to create your own pop video makeup! Then, with all zombies present and correct, it’s show time!

The Final Performance & Dance Off!
The final, awesome performance will encompass everything that has been learnt throughout the workshop!  Not only will your group be dancing but they’ll be singing along to the track and looking the part too! The group performance will unite your team and if you want a final element of competition, why not include a dance off? We’re happy to award prizes to the best moonwalk!

Team Building Games (optional)
You have the option to start your day with a series of team building exercises to work on your chosen objectives whether it be trust, communication, collaboration or motivation.  Our choreographers will use some warm up activities based on your brief to get the group warmed up, excited and ready for fun!  The team tasks are themed to the event including spider web, gravestone hopping, darkest wood crossing and zombie challenge.
